Description:
Selling my special 2011 997 Carrera GTS. I would call it in mint condition but judge for yourself by the pictures. Always garaged and meticulously maintained.. See picture of all maintenance records. No track time. Only blemishes is minor curb rash on the right rear wheel and the clear bra has some swirls in it that you have to get close to see. Same for the rear view mirrors. Works just as it should. If removed which I can arrange the front end and the mirrors will look brand new. It could use new rear tires also but the fronts still have enough life left to be left alone. If a potential buyer shows interest I will replace the rear tires and have the curb rash fixed at the same time. The Bridgestones on the car now have been discontinued so the new rears would be a different model. Minor rear end collision in 2018. Repaired to perfection by the best and most reputable body shop in the area. No frame damage and no damage to the quarter panels. New bumper cover and new Sharkwerks. bypass center muffler installed. No other history on this car.
Comes with Porsche OEM GT2 Carbon Fiber bucket seats that currently retails for $15,000 to $18,000 depending on who you ask. Also comes with Forgeline GA1R forged wheels. Cost close to $7,000 new and weigh almost 10 lbs. less each than the stock wheels. So almost a 100 lb. savings in weight between the bucket seats and the wheels. I also had the stock steering wheel modified. Still the stock OEM steering wheel. I just had the skinny, slippery OEM leather replaced by perforated leather and alcantara and red stitching to match the gauge cluster and the red seat belts. It was also thickened by I think it was 1/8", Doesn't sound like much but big difference. You can probably see the difference in the pictures. Feels really good in your hands.
That about sums it up. The car has been maintained by Suncoast Porsche in Sarasota Florida since I bought it so they know the car well. PPI by them welcomed. Please feel free to call me with any questions. Cell # is 941-266-1761. More photos coming or if someone has interest we can do a face time walk around of the car. May be better that pictures and just a phone call.
Added one picture. Had a question about the driver's seat that "looked beat up". That's the bolster protection. Just a piece of fabric to protect the bolsters. Have the same thing on the passenger seat which is really not needed since the passenger seat is rarely used. Getting in and out of the bucket seats can be hard on the bolsters so this protection takes care of that. Picture attached of the seat with the bolster protection removed.
