When you click on links to various merchants on this site and make a purchase, this can result in this site earning a commission. Affiliate programs and affiliations include, but are not limited to, the eBay Partner Network.
For those of you who prefer to sell your car to a dealer but are often disappointed by the values, we offer all the convenience of a dealer sale without compromising on the price.
VinBidders is a platform where you can submit your car in 5 minutes and our network of independent & franchise dealerships around the United States will bid on it.
Click here to read more about how we got started - See post #70
Here's how it works
- You submit your car in 5 minutes
- We work with you on a realistic reserve
- We send a mobile PPI service to your driveway/work/storage facility. They will also take pics for the listing.
- The auction runs for 24 hours
- We will only share your info with the winning dealer
- Dealer handles logistics, paperwork, payoffs etc.
- You pay a $149 fee ONLY if the car sells
That's it. No comments, no test drives, no financing, no pesky questions, and definitely no needy buyers.
We also do not publish the VIN or share the listing on the web.
Our dealers love cars with at least $75k market value and clean titles. Anything from a late model Macan GTS to a Ferrari 12 Cilindri and above is fair game.
Interested?
Visit our website below to submit your car or use the contact form to get in touch. Rennlist members get a discount so the seller's fee is only $49 if the car sells. Just DM us for a promo code that you can apply to your listing.
Thank you

We are in the process of listing 2 x 718 GTS 4.0 and a 992 Turbo S Cabriolet from Rennlist members who reached out to us. You can also just submit your car and we will get back to you.
We are waiving the seller fees for Rennlist for the rest of this month!

Thank you to all those who reached out with questions and the launch code to waive the seller fees. We also updated the sign up page with a more detailed 'How it Works' section based on FAQs we are receiving from Rennlist and elsewhere. You may also DM us if you still have any questions!
Just sharing a recent result. This was a GTS 4.0 with a really nice build sheet and in impeccable condition. We approved a slightly higher reserve since the dealers in our network have been requesting certain cars and this fell right in that zone. The car went RNM during bidding but we did call the 2 highest bidders and found a buyer at reserve. Overall, the process took under a week and the seller got a great outcome. 718s and 992s have been under-performing on other auction sites so we were also happy to see this result.
Our dealers have a way to request cars for which they have very interested buyers so they can bid aggressively. We host this list on our website but in the meantime we can also share on Rennlist manually.
718 GTS 4.0
992 S/T, high spec GT3
992 Targa manual
991 Targa manual
Ferrari 488 / 458 variants
Ferrari modern - F8, 812, 296
McLaren 600 LT
Huracan and Urus
AMG G Wagon variants
997 Turbo
991.2 all trims
Another GT3 Touring sold to a dealer on BaT, but this time the seller had it consigned and probably paid another 5-10% commission. So overall the seller left close to 15% in fees on the table just to sell to a dealer anyway. This is the exact case study for why you'd rather use VinBidders as opposed to consignment especially if you aren't looking for a trade.
I spoke with the sellers of the last few cars we ran and pretty much all of them had explored a dealer sale or consignment before they found us and got a better outcome.
Selling a Ferrari 296, 992 911 T manual, and a 991.1 Turbo S this week.
We also have a newsletter up where we feature weekly demand, insights from the platform, and market trends on enthusiast car. Please visit our website and subscribe if you'd like to stay in touch.
Posting some of your close prices would be helpful.
We deliberately don't publish the results. We are also working on some analytics based on anonymized data from all the VINs flowing through the platform. For example, reserve vs final sale price, delta between lowest and highest bids, and so on.
If you are curious about reserves, then feel free to submit your car and our team will respond. You can always decide whether to proceed based on the reserve.
