Description:
THIS... is my wonderful garage queen 987.2 Boxster S in Meteor Grey Metallic over Stone Grey leather with a black soft top. It has the 310hp 3.4 liter DFI flat-six engine and a 6 speed manual transmission which as you know is hard to find. It was built in Nov '09 and had an original MSRP of $63,120 with factory options including the Sport Chrono package, heated seats, automatic climate control, and Bluetooth through the stereo. It was delivered new in Fayetteville NC then traded at Leith BMW of Raleigh NC in 2018 with 48k miles. The second owner brought it to Richmond VA where it stayed until I bought it in August of 2024 with 64,548 miles. Since then it has lived indoors on a battery tender 24/7, has only been driven once or twice a month in nice weather, has only been filled with 93 octane Shell premium gas + Stabil 360, and now shows just 66,700 miles.
It is stock except for wheel spacers/bolts, shift ****, and floormats. It has never been tracked, wrecked, or otherwise abused as far as I can tell. It has been very well maintained, I am happy to send you its service history - the prior owner had it maintained at Lufteknic. During my ownership most recently it has had a new set of Continental tires, an oil service, and the transaxle oil changed. Cosmetically it is in great 'driver plus' condition, showing patina on some surfaces due to 15+ years of enjoyment. I will happily facilitate a PPI for any prospective buyer at the local shop of their choice if needed. I also have recent Carfax and AutoCheck reports that I'm happy to send along.
It comes with a fitted Porsche car cover, two keys, old parts/tires, service records, a new Porsche AOS + Continental accessory drive belt, and whatever else I can find. Come get it regionally or "fly in, drive home" so I don't have to deal with Bring A Trailer (and so you don't have to pay their 5% buyer premium.) Clean title in hand. If the ad is up, the car is available. Thanks for looking!
Edit - here is a short video of a cold start & walkaround,
You should send the seller a message directly instead of making those kinds of posts in public.
If your account is new, you'll need to go make a few posts (the welcome forum is great for this), wait about half an hour, and then you'll be able to send/receive private messages.
GLWS!
