I am the second owner of this beautiful 1997 Targa 993. The first owner was a lady who purchased the car new at Porsche of San Diego and kept it garaged its whole life in sunny southern California.
Original options include: am/fm radio with cd player, torque limited slip wit ABD, motor sound package, full power driver seat and more;
The car is 100% bone stock with no mods or add ons. I installed a trickle charger on the battery. Includes charger and indoor car cover.
The car shows typical small blemishes for its age and mileage but is in great shape mechanically and look awesome inside and out. The targa top works flawlessly. I have had zero issues except that the immobilizer and alarm control units failed and had to be replaced. This is a typical issue with 993's. Both key FOBs also had to be replaced. Reverse was also finicky getting into and so they replaced the 2 bushings and now the car shifts perfectly. Monterey Porsche did the repairs and the total was $7,476. See invoice

I've only put about 1,000 miles on the car since I won the BAT auction 2+ years ago. These cars have appreciated and are still going up since supply is so limited and everyone realizes how truly special these air cooled 993's are. I wanted to list on Rennlist first. If the car doesn't sell within a couple weeks, it's going back on BAT.
