Excellent condition and low mile BMW M5. I am the 3rd owner purchasing the car last summer and adding about 2k miles. The car was purchased on consignment from a classic car dealer in Long Island who had the car listed on BaT where the winning bidder did not consummate the sale. I subsequently purchased the car from them and continued to go through the car as did the previous 2 owners. The car presents in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically having undergone a dry-ice cleaning and ceramic coating in 2023. The car was purchased and maintained at BMW Greenwich from 2000 and until 2021 whereby all service records go back in their system nearly that far. The SA at the dealer told me they changed dealer software in mid-2000s and the records go back to that changeover. These records can be reviewed via the VIN at the service department. The second and third (me) owners performed the following maintenance items in order to keep this car in perfect mechanical condition. There is an accident on the carfax report however my visual and mechanical inspection made me feel comfortable with the quality of repairs, especially given the thoroughness to which this car has been taken care of it's entire life. I have very much enjoyed my brief time with the car and unfortunately due to limited car storage and the desire to get back into a Porsche, I am now listing this car for sale.

- Dinan cat-back exhaust added
- BlueBus bluetooth connectivity added
- full service including brake bleed and ceramic pads replaced
- 4wheel alignment performed

When shopping for an e39 M5 I looked long and hard for an example as "next to new" as I could without spending EAG money. This car strikes as an excellent value given its condition, milage, and performance. It's is amazing that this car is still fast by todays standards. The car is available for inspection in Greenwich, CT at the buyers expense. The car may go back on BaT depending on the level of interest here.
