Description:

This car has been a passion project since I bought it, as it was my first Porsche. Over time,
as I learned more about these cars and their weaknesses and strengths, I worked to
improve their reliability and drivability. Today, we have what this car uses: as many OEM
Porsche components as possible and high-quality and tested Motorsport parts. The car is my
take on a modern Carrera T in the 996 generation, emphasizing driving involvement and
lightness. The car was optioned well from the factory with the full leather dash and doors,
which improved the interior of the 996. The vehicle has the following modifications and
passes Colorado emissions without issue:

Suspension/Handling
-Ohlins Road and Track Coilovers (installed at 68,691)
-Tarrett Engineering Adjustable Camber Plates
-New control arms w/ solid RSS caster pucks
-Eibach Adjustable Sway Bars
-Tarrett Engineering Adjustable Sway Bar Links
-Heim Jointed control arms for every arm
-Stomski Racing Bump Steer Kit
-OZ Alleggerita Wheels Gloss Black 18x9 Front and 18x11 Rear
Brakes
-997 GT3 Brakes Master Cylinder (crazy transformation)
-997 GT3 Brake Cooling Ducts
-New Sebro Slotted Rotors w/ Hawk HT-10 Pads
Drivetrain
-997 GT3 RS Shifter (15% shorter and aluminum bushings)
-GBOX 2nd gear detent
Interior
-996 GT3 Replica Bucket Seats
-Schroth 6-point Harnesses
-Brey Krause Harness Bar (bolt in, reversible)
-996 GT3 center console delete w/ radio delete shelf
-996 Cup Momo Mod .07 Steering Wheel
Exhaust
-Schnell Long Tube Headers
-FVD Brombacher Catless X-Pipe (w/ O2 extenders)
-Afterhours mufflers (less aggressive version)

Engine Performance-Tuning – Misc.

-Evolution Motorsports Tune (295whp MOFAB Dyno, Parker, CO.)
-RSS Under drive pulley
-997 air box (performance and aesthetics)
-Porsche X51 package Baffled Oil Pan
-LN Engineering IMS Replacement Bearing 106-08.2.2
-LNE Spin on oil filter adapter (improved filtration)
-Sachs Racings Clutch Kit
-Aasco Aluminum Flywheel
-Acer Titanium Lug Bolts w/ T80 Tool
-Odyssey PC680 lightweight battery
-Water pump and low temp thermostat
-Porsche Air Oil Separator
-Porsche Rear Main Seal
-BMC high-flow air filter
-Serpentine belt and all rollers
-Beru Spark Plugs and 997 Ignition Coils (New design)
-Coolant Expansion Tank
July 1, 2024, Speed EFX installed a full body wrap with full door jams wrapped in Porsche
Pepita, paying homage to Porsche Pepita Houndstooth interiors. The wrap received a
protective PPF covering the entire front, mirrors, and potential rock chip areas. All windows
have been tinted and finished with Carrera side stripes.
Possibly more. If I learned it could fail, I replaced it. I also scoped the cylinders when I
replaced the plugs and found no signs of scoring. This was performed at ~62,000 miles.
The car is corner-balanced and aligned and truly drives as close to a GT car as possible
without paying GT prices. The engine revs and sounds like a Motorsport product with
exhaust and lightweight flywheel. The vehicle is extremely direct and responsive to driver
input. It runs 1:58s at High Plains Raceway, Byers, CO., which anyone will tell you is stock
GT4 territory. This is a turn-key car that needs absolutely nothing. You could drive daily to
work, take it to a track day, tear up a mountain road, or pick up groceries.
Also included are the OEM sport design wheels as well as a brand new sticker set of Falken RT660 tires for the OZ wheels on the car.

I am listing this car for my friend Jim, I am very knowledgeable on the car though because I was the previous owner. Please let me know if you have any questions about it.
