Description:
This 944 has had a lot of love placed on it under my ownership. It started out as a father-son project for my son to use as his first car. I ended up getting a new daily driver and my son asked to use my old one which left me with the decision to have to sell this car. This car has had all of the maintenance expected on a 944 completed, a new interior, fresh paint, and extensive suspension work.
The goods:
fresh glass out repaint, new windshield, resealed hatch, lots of new rubber gaskets on the exterior, new control arms, strut inserts, shocks, upper strut mounts, ball joints, tie rods, steering racks, belts, rollers, fresh oil change, power antenna, hatch struts, and much more.
The not so good:
salvage title due to a minor right front hit (no structural damage at all) that required a fender and door (photos of the car when I got it are available). The odometer is 5 digit and the carfax shows true mileage unknown however the history lines up to 1126xx miles. A few minor trim pieces are damaged.
In conclusion, this is one of the best early cars that I have seen and I really hate to see it go. The car was on bring a trailer and did not meet reserve. The auction has driving videos and a link to the build thread.
