I've just started my search for a 996 911, and I'm posting on this form to expand my search.
- Price: $20-$30K range depending on model year, specs, condition, and maintenance history.
- Model: 996 C2 Coupe 6 speed.
- Specs: flexible, but Aero Kit is a bonus
- Maintenance: IMS bearing update a bonus, but not a must. I understand the earlier model years were pretty stout
- Mileage: 60K-100K mile range, but flexible
- Color: No preference in exterior color. Darker interior colors preferred
Located in Northern California, but I'd be willing to travel to pick up or transport.

I have a 01/98 build silver on black C2 6 speed coupe with ~75k on the clock I would consider selling for the right price. It is completely stock, save for fister modded mufflers, with amber lenses all around. IMS and timing chains done with no outstanding service items. Clean oil reports from blackstone available. It's been a real gem of a car for me!
If I can be of assistance, please reach out. PM me or contact info below. I'm a Rennlist sponsor and would be happy to help with your search, and I own a 996! Tom
Hey, someone pointed me to your post. I just started putting out feelers for my 996.2 coupe in SoCal. 6MT, 86k miles, CA from new. Clean title/carfax. Arctic silver over black with good spec (sport exhaust, sport suspension, full leather, Bose, etc). If you’re interested I posted some highlights on my IG and have pictures/videos from throughout my ownership since 2020. Paper service records going back to ~2010.
See my add for a 2002 C2. ^MT, FSI 3.8l Stage I engine with 15K miles, IMS Solution, UAOS and water pump in the last 2 weeks. Artic silver with Graphite Gray interior. Flat Six motor so all reliability issued have been addressed. I put all the miles on the motor, oil changed every 6 months.

HI,
I own a 1999 Porsche 996.1 in Ocean Blue Metallic with a grey interior, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The car has 174,000 miles on the chassis, with approximately 25,000 miles on a new engine sourced directly from Porsche. It also features a low-mileage transmission, a new clutch, and a replaced air-oil separator (AOS). Recent maintenance includes new condensers, radiators, brakes, and a Porsche windshield with an antenna (installed alongside a new cowl) to replace the original due to a crack. The car is equipped with hollow Sport Techno wheels and has been meticulously maintained by RMG Enterprises in Sunnyvale, CA. While the front seats are a bit rough, the car has spent its entire life in the Bay Area and comes with a clean Carfax, reflecting its well-kept history.
