2010 GT3
For SaleI think you hit the nail on the head. It's the opportunity cost of owning a car you aren't using but the fear of regret if you let it go. For a little perspective... about 12 years ago I owned two 997.1 RSs... both between 7-8k miles. Bought the green one for 85k, stripped off the track parts and sold them, then sold the car for like 115k. Thought I had made out like a bandit! Then the silver/orange car... even nicer, honestly. Did the same thing, thought I had done well. In hindsight... ouch. The only salvation is that the proceeds from those cars funded the down payment for a lake cabin which has appreciated at least as well as the cars, provided 10+ summers of incredible family memories, and is actually generating rent! If this car sells, I'm sure there will be quite a bit of regret. I took it for a drive with a potential buyer this morning and was like, man, this thing rips. I'm not going to give it away but, still, it doesn't seem to suit the season of my life right now.
I would be interested in the car. I will look to PM you.
I udnerstand Todd! If I had a car I didn't drive, I couldn't see myself keeping it. Thankfully I still feel the desire to drive them all, so for now they are all staying! GLWS...although you might also want to consider the lesson from your last two sales! Same regret later most likely!
