This car originally sold out of University Porsche / Audi in Seattle, WA. It passed through two owners prior to me (the second owner / family had the car from 1976 to 2023). I purchased this car from the 2nd owner's son (he inherited the car from his Dad upon his passing) and I commenced a full mechanical restoration that was completed in April 2023. A respray in the original factory color was completed by the family and it shows well today.
Since my mechanical restoration, I've added ~4,000 miles. The car now shows 76K miles.
I've had an absolute blast with this car, and I now have a 1975 Carrera, so it's time to part ways with “SLYMRR”. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive this car from Miami to Anchorage.
As normal with a vintage car, there are several small rock chips on the front clip consistent with mileage. This car is fully sorted and turn key.
Reach out if you'd like to view/drive it and/or want to setup a PPI. We have an amazing local shop called Jones Autowerks here in San Antonio, TX that can assist and has done the necessary preventative maintenance since my purchase.

Gorgeous! I’m local to you and would love to have this in my garage if I wasn’t so broke. 😜 Jones Autowerks is fantastic, especially for the air cooled cars. If I could somehow find the money I would take this off your hands in a heartbeat. Best of luck!
I know this car as well as the owner. It literally is a turn key, sorted air cooled car that needs nothing and is in a killer color. These don't come along very often. Also, the owner is fantastic. I honestly can't believe it is for sale. Someone will be extremely happy with this car!
I love this car, the Emerald Green Metallic is even more stunning in person. It’s had all the right work done by the right people. This is peak mid-year. The seller is a class act, someone will be getting a winner. Sorry to see you go SLYMRR! 💚
Perhaps a selling point for California residents is that once you get it registered in California it is exempt from biannual emissions testing. The 1975 model year is the final year to be so exempt.
I would point out that to my knowledge (and the owner of a 1975 Carrera) passenger side mirrors did not come on these cars from the factory.

Thanks for the input! I was not aware of the California emissions testing requirement that applies the 1976 and newer.
I do know that the passenger side mirror was not factory. It was on the car when I bought it and never had it removed. It actually helps quite a bit!
Given the car's origins that Seattle PCA Parade decal in the side window is the perfect, period-correct (and likely original) touch. Along with the beautiful color this is a fantastic example that would be joining my stable if not for lack of garage space. GLWS, hope she finds her way to a driver who will enjoy her.
