Description:
Selling hand crafted book ends, made from original, new 997 rotors and Mahogany stock.
Inspired by the original Porsche book ends, but half the price and with a bit more character with the wood baseplate.
Gauging interest to see if there is any interest. I have enough stock to make at least a few more, but got 2 on hand.

You asked for feedback soooo… personally, I’d much rather the wood have either a 45 degree joint with some sort of reinforcement, dowels/biscuits/etc., or do a finger joint, dovetails, or really any sort of interesting joint that looks cool (look up Japanese woodworking). This butt joint just looks low effort, but a nice joint will elevate the overall appearance and quality, plus be more durable for long term use.
