2005 Porsche 911 Carerra 3.6 Base - Manual 6 Speed
67,xxx miles. Original engine and body/ paint. 4th Owner
Clean CA Title in my name. Tags and Registration current.
Ready to pass on my Speed Yellow 997 Base Carrera. If you’ve been looking for a Speed Yellow 997 this one won’t disappoint. Bare spec no PASM not even TPMS sensors (my dream spec). Key highlights done in the past 5,000 miles new IMS (Servicable) RMS, Clutch and all related parts. Brake rotors/ pads. And an oil analysis from Blackstone Labs. Clean as a whistle. The car runs perfect and is mostly stock with Fabspeed Super Cup mufflers and on H&R Springs. Recently upgraded the interior panels with OEM full leather option panels and dash with stitching. I had to have that Porsche leather smell and premium feel. It was the only option missing on an otherwise bare bones spec example. Period correct discontinued Victor Equipment wheels. If interested, please PM me and we can go over a binder of maintenance records and history on the car.
Asking $46,500. Located in Los Angeles. Serious inquiries only please.

This seems like a great buy. Beautiful color, descent miles, major work (ims, rms) completed. How is this not sold? I just picked up my 997 last month but would have been on this one if I saw it then.
Thanks guys. I took down my local FB ads. Got tired of dealing with that crowd. It’s a special color and example so I figure I’d let the right buyer come to me and forget I even listed it. Ironically I’m still looking for the right mods/ upgrades to do so I know a big part of me doesn’t want to sell.. if that makes sense! Ha! In any case here’s my latest pic enjoying the views. 💛
My only hesitation , even with a clean UOA from Blackstone is the looming issue of bore score with these non DFI 3.4's .
To be honest, I used to think it was way overblown for the longest time, but in the last 2 yrs I've seen FS ads for 997.1's being listed "As-Is" due to idle noise at start up to metal chunks found in oil filter, some even here on RL.....any chance you've had the cylinders boroscoped ?
I'll definitely give yours some thought and DM you for a cold start video if I decide to go further.
Hi there. Mine is a 3.6 but youre correct. I think many cars out there have bore score with or without the sellers knowledge of it. This one I did not have a bore scope check. I bought the seller and history of the car and knowing the 3.6 have a lot less likely hood of bore score compared to the 3.8. Not to mention its been a west coast car all its life. After the oil analysis and zero symptoms of bore score. Happy to chat more if youd like PM me. 911-140.6 Thanks!
