1999 Porsche 996.1 GT3 Cup - WP0ZZZ99ZXS698089 with 28,592 kilometers / ~19k miles (increasing with use).
Sold new in Germany - road-licensed in Japan in the early 2000's. Recent import to Seattle and current Washington plates. New battery / oil & filter / plugs & coil packs. Runs and drives well.
The 996 Cup car features a 3.6 liter Mezger motor; 6-speed manual gearbox with strengthened internals and LSD; upgraded clutch and lightweight flywheel; center-lock wheels; and upgraded suspension. Bodywork includes carbon fenders; carbon doors; roll-cage; Recaro seats; air-jack; center windshield wiper; plexiglass side and rear windows. Note, this vehicle has been updated to 996.2 GT2 style front bumper and headlights and rear bumper. Carbon engine lid designed for a large wing.
This is the 89th GT3 made. The first batch of GT3 were mfg. in late 1998 for Porsche Supercup. This car is from the subsequent batch of GT3 Cup cars, mfg. February, 1999. VIN, 99ZXS = 1998/1999 model year - early GT3 road-cars are 99ZYS = 1999/2000.
Cool car, but I would put the wing back on it. Would look a lot better with the decklid that is on it now. This is truly a racing car, so the wing is appropriate.

The early GT3 Cup had the Aerokit / Taco wing.
I expect new owner may want to return to 1999 specs - bumpers / headlights / decklid. But if primarily track use then they'll want a big wing. Buyer will do what they want...
Car is as-shown - no extra parts. This 'passes emissions' by virtue of being federally EPA exempt (21 years). There is no emissions testing in WA but for states that do have testing, perhaps with USA 996.2 GT3 exhaust & cats & ECU and you may pass ....
Also do you have a picture of the VIN plate on the dash or is there one? Ohio requires a VIN verification when you go to title it, so just curious.
Car is painted grey and here is a photo of the VIN in the frunk. Many RoW cars don't have it at the base of the windshield. Photos and more info added to my website (above) and walk-around / driving / undercarriage video will be uploaded end of the day.
