Description:

This is the 86k mile engine came out of my 2006 Cayman S that I just upgraded to a DFI drivetrain. It ran well, but does have bore scoring on cylinder 5. It does have brand new spark plugs, coils (Beru of the latest index), Bosch fuel injectors, Bosch MAF, changeover valves, vacuum hoses, etc. It also has a LN Engineering 2qt deep sump oil pan with X51 baffles, new motor mount with Powerflex poly inserts, and underdrive pulleys with new tensioner and belt. I can include a used set of stock headers if needed and also have a perfectly working 6-speed manual transmission and brand new Sachs clutch and Luk Flywheel for sale if someone wants to get those as well.

The wiring harness and DME will be included as well and I have a Softronics programmer with tune that can be provided along with the DME.

This is a great engine that would be perfect for either parting out or rebuilding as it already includes tons of brand new parts that could be carried over after rebuilding to a larger displacement. I was still able to run it just fine before removal, but decided it wasn't worth making it any worse before swapping in a DFI engine and such, so I pulled it preventatively.

Also, if anyone is interested in rebuilding the engine, I am also selling the Jake Raby DVD series with workbook and torque spec book as well.

I'm not really interested in shipping it, but can figure something out if needed. Shipping costs would be covered by buyer. I think Uship.com can do engine transporting, so that may be an option for someone.
