This build is well-documented on the site. While the engine was out, we replaced all the seals. There are zero leaks. We upgraded the PDK valve body to the newer version per Sam's advice when troubleshooting a PDK issue. Sam conservatively tuned the car for reliability and longevity. The Porsche ran a 9.6-second quarter mile at the track, and then a stock axle snapped. We have not run the car at the track since the axles were upgraded and replaced. However, the car recently ran a 9.5-quarter mile on the Dragy prior to the installation of the ByDesign intake manifold. The car has more in her if the next owner wants to go that route and extract more horsepower. The rebuild has approximately 4,000 miles. And yes, I have the rear bumper! I also have all the interior pieces for the rear (e.g., backseat, panels, etc.). I have not had the time to reinstall the pieces after installing the roll cage.
Issues: The heat does not work (AC works). It was diagnosed as a blender issue. I will have this resolved for the next owner. Typical rock chips for a 50k-mile car. The car has PPF, but it is old. The car will throw a CEL due to the exhaust being catless. No other fault codes. Minor damage was reported on the CarFax. The seller I purchased from said the previous owner made contact with some debris on the road. Repairs were made by a Porsche specialist (I have the receipts). I have pictures of the damage per your request. Clean title.
This Turbo S is solid. Would not hesitate to drive the car cross country. Smiles for miles.
Asking $150k OBO for a Rennlist member. I have it listed for more on FaceBook. Call or text Mikey at (907) 903-7814 if interested. Cheers! Thanks for looking!
Thanks for the interest.
I recently had the ByDesign intake manifold installed. It is a shame this beautiful piece of engineering cannot be seen in the engine bay when installed. I have the fuel rails for secondary injectors, but I decided to keep the stock ECU rather than go with Motec. I believe the fuel system also needs to be upgraded to run the secondary injectors.
I am considering keeping the vehicle.
