Also, if the LoC cannot be obtained, you will most likely need to change the Speedo and/or Tach to be compliant. The RI can do this for you for about $600

Thank you for all the interest and kind words, I've received a deposit and the car is conditionally sold. I will close the thread & mark as sold once the sale completes.
Thank you.
Thank you.

PASM Include?
Hi, did the model R come with PASM?
I have the 2008 RS 60 Sypder and love enabling PASM in the twisties.
I’ve been looking for a 987.2 for a while, and this is one of the nicest examples.
Let me know the background on PASM.

I had a 987.1 with PASM and all the options including PCCB, Sport Chrono, etc. While I liked the PASM, the R suspension is the best suspension I've had in any car, and I've had many aftermarket coilover set ups as well. It's just perfect. Somehow it manages to be so firm yet absorb road imperfections very well. My car sees track, autocross, and road racing and it does phenomenally, and my wife is still comfortable on long road trips. Definitely an upgrade from the PASM on my previous 987.
The closest model to the R that had PASM was the 987.2 Cayman S Black Edition, which was limited to only 500 numbered units.

The R and 987 Boxster Spyder both came with fixed damping sport suspension as the only option...this suspension was the precursor to the X73 suspension used on the 981 models. It sits 20mm lower than the standard suspension and 10mm lower than PASM.

thanks so much for the background.
I thought that perhaps it had the same set up as a Spyder but wasn’t sure and your description of the benefits makes it sound pretty amazing.
