Description:

Selling my 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Coupe. Equipped with the desirable G50 gearbox and a number of rare factory options including a limited-slip differential, sport seats, and sport suspension. I've had it for around 10 years. Always maintained by Porsche specialists with service records going back to day one. $11500 major motor service preformed at 89K miles by European Performance Engineering of Natick, Mass, and a $3500 Gearbox rebuilt within last 2000 miles also at EPE.
This is a no-excuses car, with no mechanical issues. I installed a refinished set of gold 16x7 and 16x9 BBS RS wheels in 2021 with Pirelli Cinturato P7 N4 tires date-coded 2020. Slotted brake discs installed within the last 1000 miles. Recent maintenance includes new starter, battery, and air-conditioner recharge. Car comes with the original toolkit and air compressor, also I will add in a set of 17-inch 964 RS-style Kinesis three-piece wheels mounted with old Michelin tires.
Original Options List:
158 - Radio "Reno"

220 - Locking Differential

341 - Central Locking System

383 - Sport Seat - Left

387 - Sport Seat - Right

395 - Light Metal Wheels - Forged

424 - Automatic Heating Control

454 - Automatic Speed Control

474 - Sport Shock Absorbers (Bilstein)

533 - Alarm System

650 - Sunroof

975 - Velour Carpet in Luggage Compartment
Only cons are that I don't have the original radio or wheels. There are a few paint chips here and there, and the front bumper looks it was resprayed by the PO, I am also missing one of the BBS center caps, but the car presents extremely well. The engine provides smooth, linear power delivery up to redline and the G50 gearbox shifts effortlessly. Ride, handling, and braking are superb.
Asking $70,000, but I am willing to entertain offers. Also interested in trades for other Porsche sports cars, Acura NSX Ferrari 308 or 328, and BMW M cars.

Default Interested in Kansas City

Hi,

I'm interested in your 87! I just sold my 88 and miss it dearly.

Have you been getting a number or realistic offers recently?

Which shop local to you has worked on the car and can do a PPI for me?

Please shoot me a text <removed>. I'm stationed in Kansas City now, but I'm happy to fly there and/or arrange shipping for a shop.

Chris

@biggeoffry @perkinselectric I hope you two figure out a way to verify that you are indeed talking to each other via email! The downside of posting that information in public is anyone can send an email and pretend to be the seller.

It's why we encourage PMing on Rennlist first. That way you know you're talking to the actual seller.

In this case, @biggeoffry you need to make a couple more posts before you can send and receive messages! Once you hit 3 posts, it can take up to 45 minutes for messages to be enabled for you.
