For sale is my 1986 Porsche 944 N/A. This car has been a labor of love since the day it was purchased 2 years ago. Owned, restored and maintained by a certified Porsche dealership technician, using many original Porsche parts. The previous owner also completed some repairs/ maintenance that is listed below. It began life in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was told by the previous owner that it spent most of its life there, hence the patina and various cosmetic imperfections. This car has many highly desirable options including Factory Recaro Sport seats (n. 383/ 387), Limited Slip Differential (n. 220), and stabilizers and sport shocks (n. 456). It currently sits on Etoile 2-piece wheels with lots of tread on tires. It underwent a complete interior transformation including bespoke seat upholstery and dash refinish. The carpet was replaced with newer pieces from a low mileage model. The instrument cluster was refinished with all gauges functioning, including the odometer. A harness bar was installed (factory seat belts remain), and upper portion of rear seat removed (Porsche script lower remains in vehicle). Sunroof functions work, including removal. This 944 has had the following completed in the last 1000 miles/ 2 years - New Timing and balance shaft belts with new rollers, tensioner - Crank, Camshaft and Balance shaft seals replaced -Water pump and Thermostat (coolant flushed) - Oil changed with factory classic oil and filter - Brake fluid changed - Drive belts replaced - New starter - New DME/ DME relay - New fuel filter (new injectors per P/O) - New Speed and reference per P/O - New Ignition Switch/ Cylinder per P/O - REBUILT transaxle with new Seals, Fluid, Synchro's and Bearings - New Lindsey Racing Ultra Transmission mount with short shifter - New Axles - New Sachs clutch, pilot bearing, and refinished fly wheel - New shifter and foam support. - Reupholstered Recaro Sport seats - Tachometer repaired and Instrument Cluster refinished - Flocked dashboard and Refinished door panels - Etoile staggered 2 piece wheels - New exhaust hangers - Momo detachable steering wheel with quick disconnect hub - New carpet from a low mileage car - Aftermarket radio with blue tooth (P/O) Items that could be addressed - A/C does not function, no recharge performed during my ownership - Paint peel, dents, dings, and scratches - Headliner was removed as it was in poor condition, Sunroof headliner and trim pieces in good condition - Power mirrors do not function, passenger window motor appears to have low power - Could benefit from an oil pan reseal
