Description:
It makes me very sad to post this ad offering my beloved 997 Turbo Cab for sale. Life has changed and the fact that I have put less than 1000 miles on the car in the last two years, I have decided to move it on to someone else to enjoy. This beauty was delivered new to a dealer in New Jersey, when it was immediately sent to the first buyer in Quebec. I acquired it in 2018 from the second owner, an elderly gentleman who was doing a courtesy trade at Lauzon Porsche in Laval. At the time the car was all original with about 36,000 miles on the clock. I gave this car all the attention it ever needed as a Porsche enthusiast and put about 10,000 miles on it over the 5 years I have owned it.
Modifications on this car are minimal, and all reversable if so desired. I installed a Speedtech 3.0 exhaust coupled with an Ultimate Motorwerks tune, and according to Kevin my data logs indicate the car puts about 520hp to the wheels. It also has a DSC suspension controller, OZ Leggera HLT wheels with Michelin Cup 2’s. The original radio has a Transit Blu adaptor to allow music to be played over the phone or take calls. All the original parts (exhaust, suspension controller, wheels) along with the ecu programmer will be included and passed on to the new owner.
Maintenance wise, the car received an oil change every fall with Motul Xcess 5w40 and Mann/Mahle filters. Over the course of my ownership the car has received new O2 sensors, AWD fluid, transmission fluid, new front half shaft (crack in boot), rebuilt steering rack, alignment, battery, and front lip spoiler. More recently, over the last year it got new pads, rotors and brake sensors, a new clutch (GT2 pressure plate and disk) along with a new flywheel, slave and bushings (Ultimate Motorwerks clutch kit). Two weeks ago I replaced all the clear PPF on the front with new Xpel (bumper, ½ hood, headlights, fuel door, mirrors, and door handles). Most of the maintenance work was done by myself, with the exception of the clutch, alignment and tire changes which were done by Foreign Automotive, a Porsche specialist shop in my area. The previous owner indicated he replaced the spark plugs at 30,000 miles so I have not done them during my ownership.
Car comes with a clean Carfax and has had 0 accident damage or paint work to my knowledge. It never gets driven in the rain, is always garaged with an indoor cover, and stored in the winter months. Over revs are minimal, most on the readout happened after the tune as the rev limiter was raised slightly and the car pulls so hard sometimes your brain can’t tell you to shift fast enough! This car handles amazing with combination of the Cup 2 tires and suspension controller. On the street you will notice zero difference that it is a convertible and the wail from the Speedtech exhaust with the top down is absolutely intoxicating. Car runs and drives perfectly, no leaks, doesn’t smoke, no ticks or noises on start-up and has great oil pressure. The Carrara White paint with the Terracotta/Black interior is beautiful and is a very unique and rare combination. As I mentioned before, it pains me to sell as I feel getting another one like this would be very difficult. Options are as follows:

I have been on Rennlist for quite some time and felt it would be best to offer it to the people here before going the BAT or PCAR route. Price is in USD and car is located in Canada about 1.5 hrs from Niagara Falls NY. I will assist my American Rennlist friends with exportation of this car back to the USA, with it being from there originally the process will be pretty simple. This is a no stories, no excuses pristine example of a 997 Turbo that I am sure will make it’s new owner very happy.
Cold start video here. Thanks for looking!
