1987 Porsche Carrera 3.2- Lagoon Green Metallic Over Black Leather, G 50 Transmission.
Comprehensive 2 year refurbishment performed over the last two years, totaling over $120k. Fully documented, receipts in hand and can be shared on request. The engine and mechanical bits were refurbished by Perfect Power, of Buffalo Grove, IL. The top was refurbished by Dan Petchel, " Targa Dan" The body and paint was refreshed by Casten Auto Body, of IL. Below is a summary of the work performed, it's truly too much to list. ENGINE: Case split engine rebuild. New main bearings, rod bearings, Pistons and cylinders,( bumping displacement to 3.4L) Valve job, new guides, springs, titanium retainers, new injectors, timing chains, intake and exhaust valves, fuel pump, New/ Refurbished DME and custom SW file, clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, drivebelts, new SSI head exhangers and New Dansk Muffler, Fuel Lines A/C Refresh- New drier, lines, condensor
BODY: New Targa Top restoration by " Targa Dan," Full Re- Paint in original color of Lagoon Green, All new seals, bumper bellows, chip spoiler, H4 Headlamps
Suspension/ Brake : New sway bar end links, torsion bars, new rotors and pads, axles, master cylinder, brake lines
This is a very well sorted car. Motor rebuild has less than 2,000 miles. No smoke, no leaks. Very tight. You'd be hard pressed to find a better value for the money. All records in hand. The one minor cosmetic item that was left alone was a cracked dash( minor) The car can be seen in Charlotte, NC . Happy to share additional photos and information by request.
