I don't think 70-90 is going to cut it for a clean 964 coupe (just setting expectations).

+1 on this...for market benchmark, here are 2 active on BAT. I was offered a 1991 for your price range, but it had nearly 200k miles and PPI outlined nearly $22k in repairs/maintenance.

Not sure a clean 964 exists under 100 these days.

That said, there was a red C2 coupe that sold for under 100 on BaT recently. Didn't look through comments but it didn't seem to have major issues. So some "deals" can be had on BaT.

+ 3 from someone who spends more time watching the market than they should admit. I think the basic benchmark is 100 as an entry point for a C2 of any year. Add 10-15k for sub 100k mile, engine rebuild, deferred maintenance done. Add more for desirable color on top, sorted with mods, and fewer miles.

The red car @forbiddenbeat references was pretty basic with D90 wheels, had some deferred maintenance needed, and showed 26k miles with a big question mark on total miles. And even then, was over 100 with fees.

It was a weird, low activity auction, but his has provenance, and is completely sorted, and worth every penny. No affiliation. I've never met him. Just a keen 964 observer.
