Looking to sell my 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder which I’ve owned since Aug. ‘20. Many regard this car to be one of the desired specs with 6-speed manual transmission, lightweight bucket seats, PSE, & A/C. Looking to make room for another Pcar purchase. Overall, the car is in a great “drivers” condition including brand new tires just installed. I’m the 4th owner (title in hand) and purchased the car from a fellow Rennlister out of CA who purchased the car in early 2015. Car originally sold in FL. PPI performed at the time of my purchase (27,397 miles) reflected no overrevs greater than range 2.
More details available upon request (including clean CarFax report), but quick stats include:
Carrera White w/ black interior
6 speed manual
Carbon Bucket Seats
Sport Exhaust
Sport Chrono
Carrera White instrument dials & roll bar hoops
A/C & Cup Holders
Sound Package Plus
PPF - Full hood, bumper, side mirrors, headlights, rear intake vent surround & front edge of fenders - installed around Sept. ‘20 along with replacing the “Porsche” side decal due to some minor rock chips.
Approx. 30,200 miles
Taseful mods include GT3 master cylinder, GT3 brake ducts, Sport Design Steering Wheel, interior leather accessories & IPD plenum. The wheels were also refinished in March ‘21 from gloss black.
With the on-coming tsunami of new Porsche price-escalation and model cancellations, the 987.2 Spyder is going to look like a veritable bargain. The Spyder offered here looks to be a very, very nice one.
I have never had the opportunity to ride in a Spyder. How compliant is the suspension?
The Spyder suspension doesn’t come with any adjustability (like PASM) but a factory sport suspension. The factory suspension improvements are part of what provides the incredible handling + the lower weight. That being said, I’ve never felt like the ride was noticeably harsh - especially when compared to some M3’s I’ve been in.
