This 1988 Porsche 928 S4 is finished in Guards Red over Champagne leather upholstery, front seat covers replaced Sep 2022 with covers from Classic 9 Leather Shop. The car is powered by a 5.0-liter DOHC V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle. Equipment includes Aluminum finished Boxster 17″ “Twisty” wheels, a power-operated sunroof, pop-up headlights, fog lights, power-adjustable front seats, a new Kenwood stereo and speakers, and air conditioning. The car spent time in several states before being acquired by the seller in 2015. The current owner invested over $20K in maintenance and upgrades over the previous 5 years. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 112K miles, approximately 12K of which were added under current ownership. 

The 5.0-liter DOHC V8 features LH-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 316 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. timing belt and pulls changed in 2017 at 103000 miles. 

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transaxle. The Thrust bearing end play measures .21mm and is consistent
for the previous 3 years. A Ritech Flex Plate Clamp is installed to mitigate Thrust Bearing migration. The front brake pads are 10.43mm with the rotors at 33mm. The rear pads are 10.00mm with the rotors at 24.25mm. The tires currently on the car will need replacing soon, the rears are almost to the wear bars. 

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Louisiana, Texas, Utah, and Arizona.

This is a wonderful car that I've lovingly maintained for the previous 5 years. When I purchase this vehicle I wanted a daily drive and this car has exceeded all my expectations. I never wanted a "show car' and this is not a show car, but it will not embarrass you at the coffee and cars or your next club drive. It is still a 34 year old car and has a personality with some minor dings and scratches.
