This was about a 220k-230k retail car pending clean carfax, but hey, hope it went to an enthusiast!

I think that's wishful thinking, 991.2 non WP cars with sub 10k miles are asking 240k now(look at the one on the forums). I'd say this would have sold around 205-210.

Porsche ATX had one nearly identical to this and it sat for a long time. They dropped the price to 198k and it finally moved.

.1's have been RISING vs falling even with the current market, that car with 2-3k miles, ceramics etc would have been all of a 230 ask car, deal zone maybe 215-218, but yeah, this is a hotter market than the .2 which is currently falling.

I guess the forum's wishes came through...the deal fell through due to a SNAFU with financing

I was wondering if you were going to post back here.
First off, my money and financing were fine. Your title isn't in your name and out of an abundance of caution the bank didn't want to move forward without a new title. They simply wanted you or someone to go to the DMV and get that process going.
I had hoped you were going to do that and come back to me but I guess now you'll call Porsche of Nashville and sell it to them and then they can list it for $220k.
This was a dream find for me and i was super excited to get the car. What a major let down.

Also, here's the real vin so google can find this post later when a buyer comes searching---- WP0AF2A96GS193331

^^^^^What I am seeing as well and have been on this daily for months. The delta between .1 and .2s is closing for sure. Odd to me but perhaps based on volume of cars for sale maybe as there are fewer .1s ?? --but the .2 has by all measure a slightly better (more midrange) and bug proof (seldom discussed finger follower issue in .1 RS) motor with a FULL 9k redline and slightly better cosmetics with bulkier aero (for me anyway). Plus some possible warranty left in the .2s. Definitely pushing me that way.

Why does the car's title have to be in the buyer's name? Many owners title cars under a business name

wow. I am actually just going to keep the RS. This is pretty unwarranted. There was nothing I could do further.

it has been re assigned to me. I never re titled. It’s clean with all supporting documents. I guess banks have very high requirement for underwriting these things.
