Tire trailer, hitch, and light controller for sale
In excellent shape. Easy to tow, smooth at all speeds, you don’t know it’s back there. Light controller is easy to connect to one of the rear brake light harnesses. Locking Tool box is lined with a rubber foam to protect your tools and has a gas strut to keep the lid up. Includes locking cable I made to go through trailer wheels and tires you are towing to secure them if you leave them overnight at the track. I just moved everything into the garage space overnight. There is room between your wheels and the tool box to put 3 fuel jugs OR an EZ-Up and chairs.
Bought this off a fellow Rennlister and made several improvements. Tires and wheels have less than 500 miles on them, are like new. Spare is in similar condition.
More pictures of the trailer, hitch, other details are in the attached document
$300, I can deliver or meet within a reasonable distance of PA zip 17815.

This is really cool - just what I'm looking for! Thanks for documenting the mods you've made and the work to install the hitch. Is the hitch included or is this just for the trailer? I have a 987 cayman but I'm assuming this would work as well.
My email is jonathan.axmann09@gmail.com if you could reach out - I'm not able to send private messages even though I've made the requisite number of posts for some reason...
Hitch and brake light controller are included with the trailer. I will send you a direct email. Apologies to all, email notifications are not working for me in Rennlist. Maybe there are a few new glitches.
Correct. It threads into the rear toe hook receiver. With a jack and a few tools, pads, etc. in the tool box it balances out the trailer nicely with the tires center/rear of the axle. Not much tongue weight. So long as you don't drag racing away from a stop there is not much lateral pull.. Everything it pretty light that you don't notice it much driving.
It's nice weather here, going out to finish some decorations.

The Rennlister I bought it from used it with his earlier Cayman. I didn't change the geometry of anything, see no reason why it wouldn't still work.
Trailer is sold. Jonathan just drove away with it. Great guy who's picking up speed down that slippery slope.
Best of luck. Hope to see you at a future Metro event.
