THIS....is a 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera 6-speed in a black on black configuration. This 997.1 was purchased by me in April 2021 from a gentleman in Hood River, OR, who in turn purchased it from a seller in the Bay Area, and I believe I am the fourth owner. I have added about 9,000 miles since purchase. I have full documentation since my purchase and partial documentation from the prior owner. This 997.1 carries a clean title.
This base C2 has the 3.6l flat-6 engine. This example had the IMS bearing replaced with an LN engineering ceramic ball bearing in July 2021. At the same time, the rear main seal, clutch, and AOS was also replaced. Work was performed by Concourse Autowerks in Murray, UT.
Recent work includes an oil change, transmission oil replacement (Motul 75W-90), AC condenser replacement (and AC recharge), steering rack replacement and alignment.
Options include the Bose sound package, Bi-Xenon headlamps, and heated front seats. Aftermarket additions are a Fister exhaust, clear side indicators, Dension iPhone integration, and wiring for a radar detector.
Tires are Continental DWS with good life remaining.
This has been a drivers car (as it should!) so there are small paint chips on the hood and front bumper (see picture). There is also a small dent above the passenger rear tire. Overall, the paint is in good condition, especially given the mileage and age.
Everything works as it should (windows, HVAC, displays, heated seats, etc). Although I'm confident that there are no issues, prepurchase inspections are welcome and encouraged.
