Description:
I love my 996 C4S and Turbo, so when my step father offered to sell me his one owner 991 Carrera S, I kind of balked at the idea. The 991 surely was too fat and too luxy, had grown soft and quiet, just like M3s, SLs, Audi RS cars and just about everyhting else, right?. I said screw it and told him I would drive it and consider it.
Holy crap, was I wrong.
The 991 was stiffer, faster, had a better ride, handled better than my cars on their PSS10s and amazingly, had an even better exhaust note. the 3.8 DFI is glorious. I bought the car last fall, put 500 miles on it cruising through the Adirondacks with my girlfriend and put it away for the winter. I should have simply not registered the car and wasted the tax money on NYS, but oh well. The 991 Carrera is a superb car in S trim. I can't even imagine a GT3.
There's the problem (besides being one person owning 3 911s), I think the 991 is so fine, I simply must have one with a manual transmission, and preferably no top. I'll keep the Turbo for 60-130 pulls, winter Vermont trips and Watkins glen duty.
I am therefore trying to trade for a 991 C2S, C2S Cab, or 4S cab or GTS/GTS cab/targas with a manual transmission. Cash on my side if necessary, but preferably straight up for your manual car with more miles. Sorry, simply not interested in base Carreras.
I am also interested in a Ferrari FF, Ferrari 599 GTB, McLaren 570S spyder, 997.1 Manual turbo, 991.1 Turbo, or 991.1 GT3. Because of how I bought the car, and because the tax implications, I'd prefer not to sell it.
Car is perfect with ZERO modifications. Some light stone chips. Car had never been over 80 mph until I got it (seriously). Has never had someone in the back seat.
Just spent $2,000 on a paint correction and ceramic coating.
I have EVERYTHING for this car:factory sticker laminated, factory marketing materials, factory (both) car covers, factory battery charger, every single service invoice or all the stuff this car never needed. Brumos sticker with Hurley Heywood's signature. $112k sticker, bose, cooled seats, remote entry, premium package plus, no sunroof, adjustable dampers. Front and rear park assist. Two sets of floor mats, beige and factory espresso.
Never had a repair, and I don't mean body work. Literally it's never been worked on past whatever mileage services. Clean car fax, title in hand, no paintwork. The worst thing that has ever happened to this car is free dealer washes. I mean that both ironically and un-ironically.
Will post more soon. Please text me at 315-289-5055. Car is located in Central New York Finger lakes region.
