Default Feedback

Looking for feedback I was offered 105k from a cash buyer but turned it down as well as 100k. Also offered 85k by a dealer which was a big no. Have 2 others who want to place offers next week.

have it listed at 115k obo. It’s almost tax season so maybe a little more patience?

is it the lien? Offering to fly any buyer in at my expense and then go to bank to handle the lien and straight to sign the title over. 2 hrs tops. To do both. Right down the road from one another. Looking to do the deal at the bank to comfort all parties.

Thanks for any feedback.

Original MSRP was $107k. That's what people see against an ask of $115k. And I get there is another red GT4 on here at the same ask, but these numbers aren't happening.

Original MSRP on mine was $109k, I paid $105k in January 2018. I wouldn't expect more than $100k-$105k and it's black, buckets, PCCBs, and half the mileage. In addition, it's PPF'd on the front, rockers, etc.

Others will say it's fine and priced in line with the market, but if you aren't sitting on a PTS Unicorn, these asking prices aren't the selling prices.

The car was a $90k car a year ago and someone offered you $105k in a cash deal. That's solid money on a GT4 with a 107k MSRP.

Also, O.B.O. means "or best offer" and indicates you're willing to take less than your ask price. If you're $115k firm, change the ad and indicate that.

It is extremely generous that you will fly the person out and handle the lien in-person. I would think this would eliminate any concerns someone would have regarding that.

*as an edit, I would add: I'm not suggesting you want get what you want. But not in 4 days. The demand isn't crazy high right now for 981 GT4s that I've seen. It could take months to move the car and get what you want. Prioritize the money or a more rapid transaction.

Thanks for the reply!

i understand the market and previous prices being 80-90k cars. I think I have it fairly priced in line with market but was hoping to move by end of Feb. not in a rush though. I’m just looking to pocket the difference and put toward a huracan in the spring.

as for the price, I’m flexible on the price but I was thinking more along the line of 110-115 as to my reason behind OBO. I considered BaT but they want me to put it with 100k reserve and I’m hesitant that if for some dumb reason it didn’t go more then like let’s say 105k I’d be sour.

GLWS. I think if you are patient, you will find the right buyer. Did you get an allocation for the Huracan or plan to buy a used one? I was looking at Evo awd, certainly a more attractive option these days vs 992 Gt3.

Thanks for the info! Appreciate the feedback as well.

no allocation. Looking for a used one. But wanting to put a minimum of 20-25% down so that’s the reason for selling this. I wanted to do an evo awd but they are 50k+ over sticker with a 12-18 month wait. No thanks! I get the market and all but I won’t pay that much over. Trying to jump in before they sky rocket (last NAv10)

I was looking into 600lt but reliability scares me. So for same price point I’d rather have the more reliable option.

I feel you and wish you the best of luck.

You should take a look at what's available out there and current asking price. It's $10k above average asking price for a 981 GT4 with similar mileage and options. None of these cars are moving at these prices on RL.

Congratulations on going after the Huracan and good luck finding one!

great opinion I think, I have a black bucket,Pccb, etc with 113 sticker and 7k miles. I’d expect to start at 110 and take 105 if I were selling. But that’s me. I’d love for my car to be worth more but that’s my reasonable expectation

with that being said and the cayman going full electric in 2025. These cars still seem cheap to me. There isnt really anything at this price point and reliability with the driving dynamics you get

prices will go up over time. This may be the last chance to get a good unbeaten gt4 for around 100k

PTS Mint Green 981 GT4 just sold for 130k so that's what a "unicorn" goes for in today's market. I'd say this is a 110ish car but it takes time to get the higher number but if you're in a hurry then take 105k. The 115k+ cars usually have PCCB's + Buckets + low miles + decent color from what I've seen.

Not the norm. I know 2 PTS this summer that sold for $107k and $110k.

Those weren’t marketed correctly or weren’t a desirable PTS color or didn’t have all the right options. I know of a Riviera Blue 981 GT4 that also traded hands privately for 125k+.

Has to be a blue/green, clear bra’d, right options(buckets, full leather, etc) and marketed correctly which both this Mint Green/Riviera Blue were which made them fetch 125k-130k.

If you publicly list a half decent PTS 981 GT4 Unicorn right now it will sell within hours for 105-110k and will show up being flipped at a dealer.

You’re going to regret not taking that 105k offer. This market will not last forever.

I posted at 115k in hopes to go for 110-115k. I would be much happier at 110k I still think this car is worthy of 110k. That’s just me. Maybe I’m off my rocker. I guess I see them going on BaT for slightly more 108-113.

yeah I know the PTS mint green car. It was Troys. He’s local to me. Very very clean car. Sold very quickly. Check YouTube. There is many videos of it. He’s a content creator. Troy Sowers

there was one night blue metallic that sold for big money on bat. Which was still weird. That’s a low production number color. 40 or so

also to get top dollar you need a clean dme to show a buyer imo

they aren’t selling for 108-113 on bat. Let alone in a medium spec

post your comparisons so people understand your price
