Description:

My personal goal is to own and experience as many unique cars as possible. No matter what I have and how much I like it, I’ll put it out there for what I feel like it’s worth but I’m always open to trades of comparable value as long as it’s unique. Normally I’m not looking for anything in particular but the only trades I would consider at this time would be the right air-cooled Porsche. I intend on keeping the 997.1 until the right offer comes along as it’s a special car to me.

For those who don’t know, I owned this car late last year. Enjoyed it for a few months and sold it to later own and experience a modified 996TT X50, Gated manual Audi R8, and ‘91 Acura NSX.

After the NSX, I wanted to find the car that I enjoyed the most and made the most sense for the family and that was my 997.1 C2S w/ factory aero. Thankfully, I stayed in touch with the individual that I sold it to and he was willing to sell it back to me to make room for a 80’s air cooled P car.

Now for the car, it’s a modified 2006 Porsche Carrera S that’s been paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Currently has 73k miles on the odometer but it will increase slightly as I do drive the car frequently. Further details and options are below:

VIN: WP0AB29926S742263

Options:

Production Date: 2005-12-01

342 - Heated Seats

640 - Sport Chrono Package Plus

680 - Bose High End Sound Package

A1 - Black

AP - Black Sport Seats

P77 - Leather Sport Seats

XAA - Aerokit

XSH - Seat Belts - Silver

The car has the following modifications

Exterior:

  • Color matched OEM GT3 front lip
  • OEM 993 Matte “911” Badge
  • EMC2 Porsche Rear Splitters (color matched)
  • Cypher Rear Bumperette Delete plate (color matched)
  • Black / Silver Porsche Hood Crest

Lighting:
  • Color matched LED side markers
  • LED Front Turn Signal Lights (factory lights included)
  • LED Taillights (factory tails included)
  • White LED Highbeam Bulbs
  • White LED License Plate lights
  • White LED interior lights

Wheels / Tires:
20” Rohana RXF2 in Satin Black
20x9 F +45
20x11 R +45
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S - 245/30ZR20
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S - 305/30ZR20
10mm wheel spacers w/ extended lug bolts (front wheels only)

Suspension:
H&R Sport Lowering Springs
1.2” F & R
(PASM retained)
GT3 Sway Bars
(Factory springs included)

Exhaust:
Soul Performance Muffler Delete Pipes
Fabspeed Exhaust Tips
(Factory Mufflers included)

Audio:
Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX Double DIN w/ wireless CarPlay / Android and back up camera (Bose system retained)
(Factory Radio included)

Maintenance @ 69,482
Oil service
Wipers
Inner and Outter Tie Rods
Coils and Plugs
Brakes checked (4-5 MM all around)
Water Pump and Belt checked (looks good)

Aesthetically, the car is in overall great shape. It’s been paint corrected and is sealed with C.Quartz ceramic coating. It gets a hand wash after every time it’s driven and stored in the garage.

The only imperfections with the car are:
  • rock chips (primarily in various areas of the front of the car)
  • Pixelation in clock area of gauge cluster

The car was involved in a minor accident in the back of the car (not during my ownership or the previous owner). There were spider cracks in the paint on the passenger rear side of the rear bumper cover. Nothing else effected beside that and I have photos of the damage and the repair process of the rear bumper cover.

I also have a ton of new carbon fiber parts for the car which include:
  • GT3.2 Style Carbon Fiber front lip from DTM Fiberworks
  • Carbon Fiber Side Skirt extensions from DTM Fiberworks
  • Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser from Aero Function
  • Carbon Fiber GT3 Midblade from ModBargains
  • VIS Carbon Fiber OE style hood
  • Carbon Fiber Mirror pieces

I currently have the carbon front lip, side skirt extensions, rear diffuser and mirror pieces. Once the hood and midblade arrives, I plan to install all of it.Price is $65k without the carbon and $70k with all of the carbon. Price is primarily there as a reference point of what I value the car at.

As I’ve mentioned before, I absolutely love the car and intend on keeping it until the right offer comes along whether it be cash or trade for an air-cooled P car and honestly, I’d prefer the trade as it’s more about the experience for me than the money.

If you can find a better, go for it - no need to tell me about it.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion on what the car is worth but just know that it won’t change anything with my ad or what I value it at.

*** I WILL UPDATE THE POST WITH MORE PHOTOS ONCE I HAVE MORE TIME.

Thank you! In my opinion, it’s the only way to figure out what you truly like. You can read articles and watch YouTube videos of cars but there’s nothing like actually owning it and experiencing it for yourself. I enjoy learning about common issues, cost of ownership, and the community with each car.

After owning so many cars, it makes me have a bigger appreciation for the P car brand and the 911.

There really is no substitute.

Which is exactly why I’m here on these forums haha never owned a Porsche but have driven a few to get an idea of what I’m looking for. I’ve owned my AMG GT for a little over a year now and just really miss manual so looking to see what’s out there for trade or buy.

But anyway, enough jamming up your thread with my rambling 😆

haha no worries. AMG GT is a phenomenal car and I’ve driven a couple before. Sleek and exotic styling while maintaining a luxury feel with raw power.

The 911 C2S isn’t nearly as fast or luxurious as the AMG GT but it’s very engaging and handles very well. It has enough creature features to feel modern without feeling completely computerized. I wouldn’t say it’s fast but i also wouldn’t say it’s slow, I’d say it has the perfect amount of power to feel very well balanced.

It hasn’t yet, just waiting on the hood and mid blade.

The hood was shipped air freight and I believe it’s scheduled to deliver this week. Once they receive it, they will give me a call to coordinate delivery since I had to inspect the package prior to accepting.

Midblade is currently in customs at the moment.

Once I have everything, I plan to put it all on

I believe you were considering selling the wheels at one point. If you end up changing things up I’d be interested in the wheels. Thanks.
