Description:
My personal goal is to own and experience as many unique cars as possible. No matter what I have and how much I like it, I’ll put it out there for what I feel like it’s worth but I’m always open to trades of comparable value as long as it’s unique. Normally I’m not looking for anything in particular but the only trades I would consider at this time would be the right air-cooled Porsche. I intend on keeping the 997.1 until the right offer comes along as it’s a special car to me.
For those who don’t know, I owned this car late last year. Enjoyed it for a few months and sold it to later own and experience a modified 996TT X50, Gated manual Audi R8, and ‘91 Acura NSX.
After the NSX, I wanted to find the car that I enjoyed the most and made the most sense for the family and that was my 997.1 C2S w/ factory aero. Thankfully, I stayed in touch with the individual that I sold it to and he was willing to sell it back to me to make room for a 80’s air cooled P car.
Now for the car, it’s a modified 2006 Porsche Carrera S that’s been paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Currently has 73k miles on the odometer but it will increase slightly as I do drive the car frequently. Further details and options are below:

Aesthetically, the car is in overall great shape. It’s been paint corrected and is sealed with C.Quartz ceramic coating. It gets a hand wash after every time it’s driven and stored in the garage.
The only imperfections with the car are:
- rock chips (primarily in various areas of the front of the car)
- Pixelation in clock area of gauge cluster
The car was involved in a minor accident in the back of the car (not during my ownership or the previous owner). There were spider cracks in the paint on the passenger rear side of the rear bumper cover. Nothing else effected beside that and I have photos of the damage and the repair process of the rear bumper cover.
I also have a ton of new carbon fiber parts for the car which include:
- GT3.2 Style Carbon Fiber front lip from DTM Fiberworks
- Carbon Fiber Side Skirt extensions from DTM Fiberworks
- Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser from Aero Function
- Carbon Fiber GT3 Midblade from ModBargains
- VIS Carbon Fiber OE style hood
- Carbon Fiber Mirror pieces
I currently have the carbon front lip, side skirt extensions, rear diffuser and mirror pieces. Once the hood and midblade arrives, I plan to install all of it.Price is $65k without the carbon and $70k with all of the carbon. Price is primarily there as a reference point of what I value the car at.
As I’ve mentioned before, I absolutely love the car and intend on keeping it until the right offer comes along whether it be cash or trade for an air-cooled P car and honestly, I’d prefer the trade as it’s more about the experience for me than the money.
If you can find a better, go for it - no need to tell me about it.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion on what the car is worth but just know that it won’t change anything with my ad or what I value it at.
*** I WILL UPDATE THE POST WITH MORE PHOTOS ONCE I HAVE MORE TIME.
After owning so many cars, it makes me have a bigger appreciation for the P car brand and the 911.
There really is no substitute.

But anyway, enough jamming up your thread with my rambling 😆

The 911 C2S isn’t nearly as fast or luxurious as the AMG GT but it’s very engaging and handles very well. It has enough creature features to feel modern without feeling completely computerized. I wouldn’t say it’s fast but i also wouldn’t say it’s slow, I’d say it has the perfect amount of power to feel very well balanced.

The hood was shipped air freight and I believe it’s scheduled to deliver this week. Once they receive it, they will give me a call to coordinate delivery since I had to inspect the package prior to accepting.
Midblade is currently in customs at the moment.
Once I have everything, I plan to put it all on
