Description:

1990 C4 Coupe.  77,130 miles.  Baltic Blue with blue interior, non-turbo, manual transmission. This car is almost entirely stock other than minor modifications.

No damage noted. Very minor rust spot (about 5mm) at passenger side under windshield gasket,  All underbody panels are present.  I installed new cams (stock), chains, tensioners, clutch and pressure plate, oil hoses to tank and front oil cooler, after-market valve covers, main seal, crankshaft pulley dampener, rear blower, plug wires, distributor belt, repaired all oil leaks, etc. Pistons, rings and cylinders inspected, replaced as necessary.  New valve guides, seals, springs replaced and shimmed as needed, valve grind and run-in.  Injectors cleaned, tested and replaced as necessary.  New front rotors and pads at 76,000.  Air compressor, stock tool set, owner's manual and accessories are present.  New AGM battery.  Car is stored in a temperature/humidity controlled garage and has been driven less than 100 miles in the last 8 years.  I'm the fourth owner.

The previous owner installed an after-market radio and amplifier, which I have long since disconnected due to sub-standard wiring methods.

Includes:  Complete set of manuals, Durametric diagnostic connector (software is a free download), some specific 964 tools, fitted cover (fair condition) and some spare filters.
Needs:  Tires (little wear, but more than 8 years old).  Clear coat on the paint.  The air bags should be replaced due to age.
Known issues:  May need CCU overhauled or replaced, or possibly some/all of the HVAC servos.  CCU can be overhauled for aprox $1000, servos are available but expensive. A/C compressor works, but probably needs service; I haven't needed it so it has not been used.  Paint is faded in places but generally serviceable.  Estimate finish condition at 7 out of 10.  Seats/interior 7 of 10.  Air bag and warning light is on, possibly due to a wiring issue with the clock.  Driver door catch strap is damaged and needs to be re-attached.  There are some early dealer maintenance records, but they are not consistent and I suspect the previous owner did their own maintenance.  I have done the repairs for the last 13 years that I've owned it, including replacing the brake fluid at the required intervals.  I drove this car from Dothan, Alabama to Anchorage, Alaska in 2008 in snow and temperatures in the Yukon near -45F with no issues.  It runs well and shifts smoothly.

With some service, the car is a decent driver, but is certainly not perfect.
I will honestly answer any questions that I can.

Delivery possible on the west coast, if necessary.

Make offer.

Could be a copy paste fake however most shammers wouldn't know what an AK freeheel was. Not to say that some if not all free Heelers , myself included , might not be dirtbags but my vote is 4 a genuine Telemark brother.

Subbed for the bidding war, eventual letdowns, and infighting.

GL, buyers. Seems too good to be true, no?

Lots of fake ads going around. Even on Ebay my friend got scammed on a 964. He found the pics from an old ad about 5 years prior. Another car, 996 GT3 posted in Canada today for $78k. That one I believe is real and likely sold already. $30k plus left on the table.
