Is this the original deck lid for your car or did prior owner retrofit to your car…hence the cutting of the underside?? Curious, since I’m considering this for my 02 C2.

 

Not sure why but previous owner retrofitted it. The car is a gt3 so this is technically the wrong decklid for the car, intake location on the gt3’s is different so I believe that’s why it has been cut out

yeah the car was wrapped previously and I believe they scuffed it down for the wrap to adhere better

 

Wow that wing price has gone up just like the rest of the car from 1k to 2.5k nice

 

currently on sale new at suncoast for $5,995.00. or used eBay at $4k+….

 

Free bump for a local guy, and a reasonable price if it's indeed OEM. Nice way to save on tax and shipping.

Do you have any documentation to show it's authentic? Odd the wrong wing was fitted to a real GT3. The nicer German 996.1 and 996.2 replica wings are also stamped made in France or Switzerland, e.g. eBay item 334113691536.

FWIW, the wing alone is priced higher than the full 996.2 aero kit (00004480202). I'm not sure anyone's buying only the wing at $6000. The more expensive sold eBay listings typically have the intake in GT3 orientation.

 

Thanks…the item you posted from eBay is a replica “taco” wing, not aero 2. From my understanding, only oem ones are stamped made in switzerland. But if you have a link to any other information please post!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the “full kit” from suncoast is all reproduction parts. The live gt3 oriented ones on eBay are at 8 and 9k currently, yikes 😱
