Downsized to a smaller home and no longer have anywhere to keep my cab. Currently at my MIL house (ugh).
4th owner. No accidents on car fax.
Great condition. Open checkbook when I bought it with 68,000 mi in 2009 to get it up to snuff. (so you wont have to)
Reseal & some oil lines, second gear syncro (&misc), clutch, rotors/pads, motor mounts, accumulator, top is now manual with 1989 parts conversion. Much more to list - have every receipt since purchase.
I did something very similar (bought a reasonably priced cabriolet and then spent $$$ getting it right for years). Would've been really nice to buy an example like yours that has already been handled. Hopefully someone appreciates that aspect and snatches it up quick instead of buying a "cheap" one (and frankly in this market your price seems very reasonable) and then spending 30k to get it "right."
Your 964 is gorgeous. I'd love to come take a look at in person if it is still for sale. Are you available Sunday (7/18) for a phone call discuss the car?
Thanks,
Kyle

For a second I thought you were selling *my* car!
Triple black is simply the best color for the 964. I had one 20 years ago in white over black and that was great. Easy to keep clean, nothing showed as imperfections. However, in black the Carrera 2 takes on a whole different look and presence. I especially love the big glass headlights against the black trim rings and fenders.
Last, good luck with the sale (I do believe you are asking too little). Dealers are asking over $60k for our mileage and color combo. My 2 cents.
