Description:

2006 Porsche 977.1 base C2 6 speed with 40162 miles. The miles should not increase too much because it is not a daily driver. Speed Yellow with black interior and black tinted windows. This car has been well loved and I have kept it polished and in the garage not in use (same with previous owner). The front does have some chips, which is typical for most 911s. The rest of the vehicle is near perfect. The interior is also in excellent condition. Overall the car is in very good condition and it is fun to drive. Excellent drivers car. Exterior

As stated above the hood and front bumper have some rock chips, which is typical for most 911s.  Nothing unusual but just wanted to be honest about it.  The rest of the car is near perfect.  Not one door ding and I can’t think of any scratches.  The previous owner damaged the right front fender in 2014 and it was replaced not repaired.  It was fixed to perfect condition and I would have not noticed anything if he was not honest with me.     I believe Stevens Creek Porsche did the repair.  The Lobster Fork wheels are in great condition.  The left rear has very slight rash on the lip.  I though I would have it repaired but I never really notice it, so I figured I may get to it one day.  The other 3 don’t have any curb rash.  

 

Interior

The interior is in very good condition.  Very little signs of wear, if any.  Seats, front and rear are in great conditions and it looks great with the yellow belts.  I replaced the floor mats with the checkered Coco Mats but still have the black ones from Porsche.   The A/C switches were losing their coating and I was going to replace them.  I painted them first and I liked the way it turned out for the short term so I haven’t changed yet.  

 

Maintenance/Mechanical

When I purchased the vehicle it was a 5 owner vehicle, which makes me the 6th. However, 4 and 5 was a transfer between the same owner and his trust. That makes me the 5th owner. I have many records but I am sure not all. The vehicle was first sold in Arizona and I have records from Porsche dealers for any warranty work or service during the warranty period. From 2009-2013 it stayed in Arizona and I don’t know if  the owner used any independent shops there. I don’t think much was needed because it was a very low mileage car then, and still is. The car came to California in 2013 and I have service records from the 2 previous owners here.  Oil changes have been done annually because it rarely was driven 3000 mi in a year.  I did drive it more last year and performed an oil change at 3000mi.  The car came to California with aftermarket mufflers and exhaust tips.  They look like fabspeed and sound like them too, but don’t have any marking (or at least any I can see).  The previous owner was not sure since he bought it that way.  I was happy that they were there and pleased with the sound.  The exhaust tips add a very nice subtle look to the rear end. I don’t have original exhaust cans.  The rest of the car is stock.  The car is in good mechanical condition and everything works. The IMS has not been replaced, but as most of you know, 2006 had the factory upgraded one and should not need to be replaced.  I checked the engine number and made sure it was an upgraded engine.  I have a cold start video I will try and get posted, or I can send individually.   Serious buyers are welcome to get a PPI if one is desired at their own expense.
