Description:

For Sale:
Used 2008 GT3RS front Bumper with very minor damage.

Just replaced due to a hit and run that backed into my left front corner.  Insurance replaced with new.  All attachment brackets are in perfect condition and not damaged.  There are two (2) paint stress cracks (see photos).  There also is a small surface damage at the impact point (see photo).  This could easily be repaired by a competent body mechanic.

There are 4 - 1/8" diameter holes drilled on each side for mounting of an aluminum PMS aero deflecting bracket.  This was a 2008 only issue.  It also fastened the inner rear surface of the front spoiler to make this a very strong connection.

Finished in special order "Carrera White".  A clear bra is still on the bumper and will need to be removed.

New replacement is $7,000.00 - Asking $2,400.00 plus PayPal fees and shipping.  The bumper will probably have to be shipped by common carrier.  The size of the box will eliminate standard UPS and FEDex shipping.  We will properly package and box the bumper for shipping

do we know if this can fit on a regular 997 at all? Non-GT/Non-Turbo

I don't want to tell you the wrong info. I think a quick call to your local Porsche dealer will get you the answers.

In my opinion it will fit. sub-chassis's are fairly identical. mods are done all the time on those cars with different parts and non-OEM pieces.

To answer the above question (since the OP probably doesn't want to be responsible if there is a fluke situation the fitment doesnt work), this should fit any 997.1 Base, S, GT3 or GT3RS. The Turbo uses a different bumper and blinkers, etc...this should be a direct swap for the cars I mentioned.

Of note, I did this to my S, and I think it transforms the look of the car and Porsche only will do a limited run of these and have a few for sale, and then you have to wait several months to get another (ie-these can't just be had whenever you want to purchase one). The $1,900 price is very very fair if the stated condition is accurate. GLWS
