Up for sale is my meticulously maintained Porsche 924S. Guards red over black leather. I’ve owned the car for over 2 years and it has been a blast to own and drive. I am forced to sell due to moving into the city… can’t justify having a car anymore. I purchased the car from a dear friend who was the second owner - I knew the car years prior to owning it and when it popped up for sale I couldn’t resist… The prior owner was a very mechanically inclined individual. He replaced the water pump, fuel pump, timing belt and even the clutch throughout his 12+ years of ownership. I have the receipts of all the work he and myself put into the car throughout the years and it shows how well this baby has been maintained. The exterior is fully original - as you can imagine, the front does have substantial amounts of rock chips from age and driving - but if that is something you are worried about I am not sure if this car is for you. The paint is also pretty faded which gives the car a more aged look. Definitely something I've gotten used to. The paint could probably be brought back with the right buffing techniques & other products. The car was also blessed with a set of 911 seats from a 2004 911. They hold you in place for spirited driving and are also comfortable for long trips. They are semi-electric and work flawlessly. Sunroof, rear hatch, popup headlights and radio (with AUX) all work 100%. The car runs like a champ and pulls hard in each gear. I have never been left stranded or had it not start on me. The car is equipped with a set of gold Phone Dial wheels with Federal RR-RS tires on them. These tires STICK to the ground and improve the handling of the car dramatically. Suspension feels tight- great for cornering ability. Direct and precise steering, especially with these set of wheels. No leaks to be found, rubber seals and gaskets in good condition for their age all throughout the car. Rear hatch does not leak nor does the sunroof. During the colder months I do have another set of phone dial wheels that are wrapped in all season tires. They were purchased in 2019 and have roughly 4,000 miles on them. I’ve done a good amount of work to the car over my ownership as well. Including: replacing the alternator with Bosch AL29X rebuilt alternator, new CV Axle’s, wheel balancing, alignment, engine air filter, and new wipers. The fuel lines were replaced as well. The car does have a rear wiper delete too. I’ve done oil changes on the car every October and every May. I run a different oil in the summer and winter months as the different oil viscosity enhances engine performance. I have a thick binder of documentation of all the receipts and maintenance that has been done. Car is equipped with additional parts: stone-guards, FULL spare tire with original tool kit and jack. As mentioned before I will include the other set of phone dial wheels with the all season tires. CLEAN title - no accidents, no liens. Adult owned. Driven by myself only. Car NEEDS NOTHING. If you have read up to this point, you would understand that I am under valuing this classic Porsche. This is the last year Porsche offered the 924S... EVER. Very rare car and a unique build/story behind it. Quicker than a 944: light, peppy, agile and reliable. Thank you for interest. Not selling vehicle out of the country- so don't even ask.
