Has anyone run these Nankang tires on the track? How do you like them and would you buy them again?

Shipping is around $125.

PM responded too.

AR-1s are great on my 997 3RS. Didn't like them on the 991 3RS though. I don't know why, just didn't. They are not great on the road. Make a lot more noise than Cup 2s.

New price. I'm pretty sure these tires are hard to get or backordered right now.

Decided to keep and burn them off rather than give them away.

Ok, changed my mind. Going to sell now. $1400 shipped anywhere in the US, or $1250 pickup Gilbert AZ. New tires for less than new. Decided to quit tracking car (bought a GT4 race car) so don't need the tires anymore.

Random question.... Where did you get those wall mounted tire racks?

So one side ends up with backwards grooves? No issues with staggered overall diameter throwing off DSC?

For all the questions, no, DSC hasn't been an issue on these tires. Like I said in the listing, I bought 2 pair. The first pair is almost wore out. Done a bunch of track days on them and theya re really good track tires. If I was going to continue tracking this car, I would keep them and burn them up too. I just changed cars and my 997 3RS is going to be a street car for me now. I would say they are better than Cup 2s and last longer on the track, but a little slower than Hoosiers. Again, no issues at all. We have also ran these with great success on a S2000 we have that gets tracked alot.
