Description:
2011 Porsche Cayman Base, 2.9L, 6-speed manual, 69k miles. Very good to excellent condition. Well-documented history, no issues. These are amazing driver's cars and are extremely hard to find, especially with a manual! The 9A1 motor in the 987.2 has an excellent reliability record - drive it worry-free. Pre-emptively replaced shift cables with Numerics and added a Ben's short shifter. Other than those items and the 19" Carrera Classics, it is bone stock. Some light cosmetics. Clean title and Carfax. I am the third owner. Ready for the next owner to enjoy! Please message me for details.
Absolutely! This was very close to being a 'forever car'. I actually had it sold in February and backed out because I wanted more time with it. Now I just need to wait for 911 prices to come back to earth - wishful thinking I know.

I think it sold fast more because it is a hard car to find, than just the price itself. Or to put it another way, it would have sold quickly at 30k too.
I also suspect that doing business with you probably was easy. These listings are just a listing. The buyer is also dealing with a person behind that ad.
Great car. Very fair price. Win win for everyone

As for the auction sites like BaT, I have mixed opinions on them. The price of the vast majority of enthusiast cars these days is a barrier to entry for many would-be participants. These auctions sites are driving some of that. I’m in sales and I’m all for making money, I just hope there are still some attainable but desirable cars left for those who can’t swing the price of cars listed on those sites.
Thankfully I have other cars to drive so I don’t have to overpay to replace the Cayman. A 997.2 or 991.1 would have been next, but I’m just not willing to pay their going rate. They may never come back down, so my 911 dream may be dead.
