Description:
I recently purchased a 991.2 GT3 and that is my de facto DD, so it's time to let my 2013 991.1 C2 move on to it's next owner. I purchased this car in October of 2017 from Woodland Hills Porsche (at the time known as the Auto Gallery) as a CPO car. For the next 3.5 years it was my daily driver. It has been super reliable for me and a fantastic driver in every sense of the word.
The good:
The car is completely stock with the exception of four things -
1. it has Fister side exhausts on it which sound wonderful
2. It has a sport steering wheel with the proper PDK paddles.
3. LED clear marker lights (Porsche OEM)
4. Aluminum "look" gas cap. Which I know is silly but it makes me happy when I fill up!
Service history in my ownership:
1/24/18 - right window motor replaced, service campaign for engine cover (CPO)
1/08/19 - oil change/fister exhaust install
8/16/19 - Front rotors/pads/wear sensors replaced
2/17/20 - oil change
6/25/20 - serpentine belt replaced, heat shield workshop campaign, swap steering wheel to Sport wheel and program CPU to allow for neutral with both paddles
3/3/21 - oil change
It was noted during my last oil change that the rear brakes are nearing their end of life, so to be totally up front with any prospective buyers, you should be aware that you'll need to replace those within the next 5k most likely. The wear indicators haven't triggered the light yet or anything, but I just prefer to be as transparent as possible.
Tires were replaced with Michelin PS4S within the last 5k miles but I can't find the exact date on that.
The bad:
I was rear-ended in July of 2018. No airbags were deployed. This required new front and rear bumpers (I moved into the person in front of me as we were about to move so I wasn't on the brakes). I have photos of the "before" I can share so you can see the damage for any interested buyers. It was repaired at Paulee body shop here in Los Angeles, certified by Beverly Hills Porsche post-repair and then I daily drove it for the next 2.5 years with no issues. You wouldn't know it was ever in an accident unless I told you (but I am cause I'm honest and I'm sure Carfax would tell you too!).
There are a couple minor scratches. I tried to highlight them in the gallery but I'm not sure how well you can see them. The worst one is on the frunk lid near the badge. It's been there since before I bought it, so no idea how it got there.
It was also my daily driver so it has the minor rock chips, etc but I am having it fully detailed and polished this weekend so hopefully the majority of those will be gone soon. I will take new pictures afterwards for anyone interested.
Lastly, this isn't bad but there is a loan on the car with Bank of America (for far less than asking price). If I had thought ahead I would've just paid it off but alas... Anyhow, for anyone concerned we can do the final deal at a BofA branch for confirmation and mailing instructions for them, etc. Happy to work with anyone on that.
Willing to do a PPI as long as the prospective buyer foots the bill and it's within 15 miles of my house here in Los Angeles. There's a number of highly qualified shops within that radius, so that should be easy to sort out for any remote buyers.
- Somehow the scratch on the frunk didn't upload, I've added it now
- For PPI, anything within 15 miles of 91423 should be fine (if you need recommendations, I can point you to some reputable shops nearby for you to talk to)
