I haven't been active in the GT3 forums or in the market since buying my GT3 and I now realize that I was miscalibrated in my initial price estimate. This was truly a feeler post as stated. Given the demand I have received, I have decided to sell the car but I'm still in the process of figuring out the price.
I have not had day one interest in a car listing like this before. I thought the sale would be similar to selling my winged GT3, which took a couple of weeks. My direct messages are getting blown up right now. Some from broker-dealers willing to pay over my ask, a clue that the pricing was off. Folks have been suggesting a price tolerance well above MSRP and if you read the thread connected to this listing
For those asking:
The car is Steve McQueen slate grey. I don't know what color code that is.
I don't know why VINAnlytics doesn't print a build sheet for my car. There are no stories. I will have to get a dealer to provide me a build sheet.
I'm in the UK and the window sticker is in the states. Again, this was a feeler post and I didn't have all my homework done to complete a sale. If I recall correctly, the MSRP is 187,070 (edited). Yes, it is a lot. Buckets + Paint to Sample + PCCBs will get you there. I am going to try to verify this with a dealer or Porsche directly if that is possible.
The car does not have PPF and has not been paint-corrected. The last paint correction I had done on another car of mine shaved off too much paint / clear coat. I wanted to shop around before I had this done for this car.
I have not had a chance to clean up the car for remarketing in any way. I would have it detailed and the front spoiler lip replaced. It's scuffed despite having front-axle lift on the car
Some folks have been very passionate in their communications with me and I appreciate that. It is a great-looking car and one of a kind. It is a sad shame I'm not home to drive it every day. I know what it means to lust after a 911.
I don't want to waste anyone's time and I'm not sure how I would run a silent auction. Rennlist does not allow auctions so my best bet might be just to list it on bring a trailer. I'm going to think that through as logistics would be challenging for me. I'd have to do the remarketing work (spoiler lip, possible chipped windscreen) plus a detail, photos, and DME report. I won't be able to travel to the US to do all of that for at least another month or so as the UK is still fairly strict on travel due to covid.
If I do post on BaT I will update this post with a link to the listing if Rennlist moderators will allow that.
END UPDATE *****
Hey all - thanks. Posting a feeler for my 991.2 GT3 Touring. I've been living in the UK for the past year and it looks like I'm staying here for the foreseeable.
Some basics details - PCCB, Buckets, Extended Racing yellow stitching, black wheels and PTS Slate Grey. I paid well over MSRP for the car and would be looking for $200k as the starting point.
Car is currently in storage in the Midwest. Gauging interest and moving slowly but taking it to market is looking more and more likely by the day.

That’s hilarious and certainly they don’t know cars if they think that. You can get a far better and limited car in the R at $300ish.
This is a great color.
IDK if you have been paying attention to the car market lately, but asking prices for “normal” color Touring’s is between $210k-260k depending on mileage, options, and condition. PTS Touring’s have sold before even being listed or privately, some for crazy amounts of money.
Also, good luck finding an R for $300ish as one just sold not too far off $450k not long ago and there are none on the market at the moment.

I am retired and originally from Michigan now live in Knoxville, TN.
I would like to have a full list of options on your car and interior pictures.( Window sticker)
is there a way to talk with you which would be convenient for you? I am on eastern time.
thank you.
FYI, BAT is 30 days out right now to get a car listed. In that time market can flip easily...
I’ve admittedly never used BaT as a seller. However, given what the last two GT3Ts listed there went for, if this was my car I’d tell them I’ve got one, if you list it in a week I’ll do it and it’s a guaranteed $5K fee to them. If you need me to wait a month for this car, I’m going in a different direction. Maybe they’d push back the next 1983 Mercury Lynx or a Ford LTD II that’s set to come up Thursday.

Great point. Illiquid markets punish those on the wrong side of supply and demand imbalances. If the market gets flooded with GT3s or the buyers dry up, I would not get a price premium.
Same **** happened back in 2008 and 2015. I remember crystal clear, dealers all over were stuck holding the bag on collectables(air-cooled Porsches) and modern classics. Car sat forever until they just got unloaded/dumped and yes market flipped in an instant. Not saying that this will happen now but it will happen and I will guarantee it. IMO, we are at the Apex of the market..

You messaged me saying you want to entertain buying the car? why would you be buying at the apex of the market? why not wait for the crash and then buy when there is blood on the streets? What's your strategy?
