Description:

991.2 Manual steering wheel in excellent like-new condition. No multi-function controls, no sport chrono dial cutout. I bought this wheel to install in my 997 and had second thoughts. Paid $1100, would love $1150 including shipping ($20) and fees ($30), but am accepting offers.

Part number is 9P1-419-091-FR-A34

I never attempted to install this. I purchased it from a third party, not from a dealer. It arrived in a steering wheel box, with a steering wheel cover. Do I know for certain if this wheel was previously used or not? No. It does not have any use signs to me, no wear or oily spots on the leather.

I do not know if this is or is not from a GT car. Based on my research, the general going rate for a used 991.2 steering wheel seems to currently be $800. I was searching specifically for a manual wheel with no multifunction. I found this one available for a few hundred dollars more, presumably because of the black band at 12 o'clock. I bought it to not have to piecemeal a PDK (replacement of back cover, $40) or multifunction/heater (several trim pieces ~$100) wheel into what I was looking for. Factoring in the black band, instead of continuing to search, finding a wheel for $800, then adding in another ~$150 in parts to make it work, economically this one made sense to me.

The diameter from edge to edge of the steering wheel appears to be 360mm.

That would indicate it is indeed a GT wheel

That was my thought as well, but since I can't confirm that definitively, I do not want to misrepresent it.

Fair price if its in "as new" condition. I just bought one from suncoats and I think it was around $1,300.

I think the GT sports steering wheel has black trim surrounds with silver inner trimmings, the opposite of this configuration. This would be 370 mm instead of 360 mm of the GT sports wheel. Not really a big difference in my opinion, and just as nice if you prefer the silver surrounds instead of the blacken (sports) surrounds.
