I am restoring an air-cooled 911 and need to source a 964 or a 993 engine (and a matching gearbox, if available). 3.6 or 3.8 liters.
If you have one to sell, please let me know. I would prefer to buy a rebuilt motor, but am open to a motor with a known history (lower miles preferred, of course).
I am also open to buying an entire vehicle (964 or 993) from which I could source these parts.

I will be taking out my running 95 993 (non varioram) engine in a couple weeks if you're interested. It will only be the engine, harness and ecu. Current mileage is 112k with documented history. The engine will be removed by a reputable shop. I will provide compression, leak down test and video prior to removal. Removing it to do an engine swap for a custom build. Message me if you're interested

The engine is stock. Asking $25k with everything listed. Might have a little wiggle room. I'm located in NYC btw but shipping can be done by the shop I mentioned. I'll also have a brand new 964/993 Rennline Tubular Engine Carrier & Rennline Semi Solid Engine Mounts for sale too if you're interested as well.
