I have the title in hand but in prior owners name. Can easily transfer to new owner.
2. Are you intending to flip the car without titling it in your name? Skip-titling as it's called.
I was going to put in my Montana LLc’s name, but that would delay it 6-8 weeks. Can easily complete the transaction at AAA and the title/ registration will be in new owners name.
3. You will have to furnish a CA smog check with the sale, if In California, so just wondering how this all would work.
Smog has been completed in CA.
All necessary paperwork is in hand an can be completed at AAA in a matter of minutes. I’ve already gone by and spoken to them and can walk in with new owner to complete title xfer and very straightforward.
