Updated August, done a few more things to the car during COVID.
Interested in learning to RACE, THIS CAR IS PERFECT FOR YOU. It is not a daily driver, however, street legal, perfect for DE track day, CARS n COFFEE or weekend PCA cruising. It meets minimum spec for Spec Boxster racing, however should be considered a DE car which can be upgraded for full race.
If your already racing this car is probably not for you because most people that have called have too many predetermined wants, needs and expectations that it doesn't meet.
Car is currently registered, insured, and inspected in a non emissions county. You can cruise to the track or around town in AC, have a blast, and drive it home and when your ready finish it out for full racing action.
Engine and chassis have only 60k miles on them and the engine has been completely updated for service items including, New IMS bearing upgrade, Plugs, Coils, Water Pump, OA Separator, Custom exhaust with nice sound.
Transmission has new AASCO lightweight flywheel, SACHS sport clutch, pressure plate and bearing, Short shift kit, New WEVO trans mount and fluid.
Underside is Full PSS9 adjustable coil over suspension, SWIFT springs, TARETT adjustable drop links, TARETT adjustable toe links, Braided brake lines, Factory 17" twist wheels for racing with almost new street tires and Factory 18" sport wheels with good tires. New brakes and rotors are stock spec.
Gutted interior, removed all soft top motors and mechanisms and replaced with fiberglass roof. Removed airbags. Full welded 6-point roll cage, TRACK SPEC., setup for both track and street with removable door bars giving you the best of both worlds. Rear wing motor removed and fixed in up position.
Door glass remains and converted to manual crank. Custom alum. door skins installed. Custom Alum. floor plates. Wiring thinned and anti-theft relocated in dash and electric cutoff switch installed. Custom raised shifter setup. AC remains and with service will work. New SPARCO rally drivers seat and used Sparco passenger on new Sparco mounts waiting for new buyer to pick their own driver race seat. 3-way street seat belts now with belt bar on cage for track setup. Factory steering wheel remains so buyer can pick out their own quick release and wheel.
Body is not perfect and has minor damage in the tub area. It is not structural and will not be a negotiation point. New Satin paint with gloss red accents.
AGAIN, THIS IS NOT A DAILY DRIVER. CAR HAS NOT BEEN RACED SINCE RETROFIT.
Should be a good learner for you as it has all the right stuff underneath it for good handling as a starter and then you can add adjustable items as you get better.
