Description:
This is one 986/996 PCM 2 unit, part number 996642234FXA05 (996.642.234.05) new exchange unit still with plastic on the screen. I haven't tested it, but can if you like. This was ordered for a customer and never picked up and sat on a shelf for years. The box shows wear from sitting around, but the unit itself is excellent. It does not include manuals, CDs, etc., as it was intended to be a replacement for a defective unit.
This is the version with MOST bus optical interface, so it will only work on late 986 or 996. Current replacement cost on a PCM2 is $2500 from Porsche with a $1k core charge. Price includes shipping.
