Hello to all my fellow Porsche enthusiasts. After a little more than two years of ownership it's finally time to let her go to pursue my business venture which means it is now time to let my beloved 997 go. I've thoroughly enjoyed this 997 and it's been everything and more than I expected it to be since the day I purchased it. As you know Porsche builds some of the most reliable sports cars with the highest standard of quality control. While enjoying this car I've been meticulous and caring and always changed my oil within spec of the owner's manual. This 997 has always been garage kept and when driven it was driven correctly. Start, drive without full throttle, and do not surpass 4000rpms until the oil has reached operating temperature (this is the key to survival of these cars). You will notice it has an OEM GT3 factory bumper (smiley vent) due to me wanting the smiley vent. All paint and body work was performed by Magnum Collision who's a PCNA certified facility. I am getting to a point where no longer have the time to enjoy this car as much as I would like (They are happier when driven). This 997 drives beautifully and I always get compliments from Foremost Speed Shop in Buckhead, Atlanta where it maintained about how healthy this 997 really is. PPI's are welcome at the potential buyers expense.
Thank you for viewing my ad and take note this was not the easiest ad to type due to my emotions about letting her go... If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Below you will find a link with the full history and documentation of this vehicle. Previous ownership of 10 years by a retired Navy Aircraft Mechanic who was an avid Porsche enthusiast as well. -Joseph
I PPId the car in Atlanta prior to the owner selling to RAC, had some Recent Range 4 ignitions within the last 30 hours and some seepage around the Waterpump.
Owner was great and was willing to adjust for waterpump, at the time I just couldn’t jump on it because of the Range 4s that were recent. *feel free to make Chicken noises* 😂
I ended up driving to Dallas to look at it when it was moved.
Its very clean and shows better than these original photos. DME
Thanks ATX, that’s all great info. I was interested in this car as well as I’ve been longing for my old Speed Yellow 997 lately...just weird that the OP goes through the effort to make the FS post and then disappears.
