Tried Adaptec on a 991. They are ridiculously heavy and chip easily compared to other brands. I’ve tried 7 brands over the years. Adaptec was the worst, and H&R was best for material quality, finish, and most importantly weight.

Simple, Adaptec sends damaged spacers. The metal is crazy soft and heavy. Even generic eBay spacers are stronger and lighter.

In addition to this, their bolts were too long. To top it all off, they didn’t want to take responsibility for any of it.

Still have a few Adaptec spacers sitting around that need to go in the trash, so thanks for the reminder.

Like I said, buy H&R for the best spacers.

For what it's worth, I had H&R spacers on my E91 and one of those chipped, worst place too - the hub ring on which the wheel sits. Replacement was fine though. Guess it can happen to any of them.

Do chips like those around the perimeter really matter? I agree that they should not be that way to begin with but once installed I do not see any harm.

The Adaptec ones arrived chipped enough that the wheel would not be able to sit flush without sanding.

That looks like shipping damage to me, and you are in Hawaii maybe? so shipped further than is usual, i'm sure you are right about your experience, but i suggest its not really fair to say they have substandard product off of your experience alone, if some more members chime in with stories that are similar then that would be different, i don't know these guys or their product but anyone can have a bad day.

Is your website incomplete? You don't show the appropriate lug bolts for a Macan (only R12, 13)...and only one length. ?!
