I am second owner and purchased the car in 2017 with 14k miles from Wide World Ferrari/Maserati. My PPI took place at Porsche of Greenwich where the car was given a clean bill of health with the exception of only age-based maintenance being required. These items where resolved at that time. The car was traded on a Ghibli by a woman who kept the car at her summer home in Millbrook, NY. Originally purchased from Porsche of Danbury and serviced there prior to my ownership. I went there after delivery to verify maintenance and to get the car manual stamped. After I acquired the car I went about sorting it out with the intention of keeping it forever (don't we all). In that time I replaced the original rubber with Michelin PS4S tires, added 991 front lip mounted with adapter kit, hardwired for radar detector above rear-view mirror, installed rennline pedals with heal-toe extensions. The steering wheel was sent to LedermenZ/Grigul Design in Latvia to be recovered with alcantara and made thicker while still retaining the heating function. To match, I installed a GT2RS shifter (I have the original black as well). I also replaced the yellowing stone guards, added colored crests on wheels and clear side markers. My favorite mod, without a doubt, is the Fister Sport Exhaust.The car sits under cover on a battery tender in my heated garage from November until April on wheel cradles. Again, I have babied the car and obsessed over it with the intention of never selling. I try to never scuff the door sill upon entry or scratch the key surround when inserting for engine start. But, the purchase of a vacation home forces sale. I have added only approximately 6k miles in my ownership since 2017. The paint is in very good shape with no scratches or swirls. Cosmetically and mechanically, the car is in fantastic shape and only driven on sunny days. Annual servicing takes place at Rennwerke in Elmsford, NY in each of the 3 autumns of my ownership. If you are in the 997.2 market, this car is not to be missed.
