Description:

This gorgeous Atlas Gray Metallic 987.1 Cayman S is set up as the ultimate street/track car. I've had it less than a year and reluctantly have decided to sell, to buy a full-blown race car.

--Perfect condition. Interior and exterior are both 10+ I have never tracked this car, but have spent a small fortune preparing it for HPDE. I'm a longtime PCA and SCCA racer and national instructor. This car needs nothing. Drive it to and from the track with complete confidence and comfort. Two previous owners, in Illinois and Minnesota, used the car exclusively on the street. Autel Vehicle Diagnostic Report shows NO measurable over-revs in 3-6 ignition range. CarFax available. No accidents.

--Lots of goodies... Black full leather, heated seats, rear wiper, leather sport steering wheel, automatic climate control, Sport Chrono Package Plus, black Porsche floor mats, self-dim mirrors and rain sensor, Bi-Xenon headlamp package, custom smoked LED tail lights, and NEW Sony XAV-AX5000 Digital media receiver with bezel-less 7" flat mirror LCD touchscreen monitor that integrates beautifully with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto so you can access your media with easy-to-use icons and pages, and even use your voice to make commands so your eyes stay on the road.

--18" Titan7 T-S5 fully-forged split-spoke wheels in satin titanium (lifetime structural warranty) The T-S5 is designed to fit all popular after-market big brake kits. Plus Rennline stud conversion with new conical wheel lug nuts.

--NEW Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (less than 200 miles) - 235/40R 18 (Fronts) 265/40R 18 (Rears) - designed for serious drivers looking to maximize performance in warm dry and wet conditions. Considered the ultimate cross-performance street/track tire.

--DBA (Disc Brakes Australia) Club Spec T3 slotted brake rotors, designed for extreme road and race applications, engineered for high performance and targeted to the aggressive street driver and dedicated track enthusiast.

--NEW Hawk HPS Street Performance composite brake pads, PLUS an extra set of NEW Hawk DTC-70 high-performance track pads. Stainless steel brake lines.

--Öhlins Road & Track MR80 suspension coilovers, fully-adjustable with Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology that allows you to quickly change the stiffness of the shock absorbers. Soften for street use, or turn the golden **** clockwise for race mode, changing all four areas in the damper; low and high speed compression and rebound damping.

--GT3 Lower control arms for camber adjustment front and rear.

--FVD Brombacher Motorsport Oil Pan with increased capacity and X51 Style internal baffle, designed to retain oil near the pickup point to alleviate oil starvation and aeration (foaming) and assist with oil cooling and engine performance.

--NEW Porsche Motorsports Air/Oil Separator to prevent oil ingestion in high speed cornering.

--NEW Custom black Ultratect® Car Cover for maximum outdoor protection, includes 5-year warranty.

Default Hello again.

Do you have records for service? Are there any imperfections in paint (there's got to be) can you send photos of any Mark's or chips.? How the clutch has it ever been replaced? Anything bent underneath from careless jack placement?
I would love this car and care for it with love it's my first cayman

Great looking Cayman S. Have either the IMS or RMS been serviced/replaced and do you have any other records?

Thx

The paint has no imperfections, no dings, no dents. Perfect. The interior is perfect. CarFax shows 3 owners, no accidents, no damage, no airbag deployment, and 18 Service History records. There is no mention of clutch replacement. IMS is not a known problem with 3.4L DOHC SMFI horizontally-opposed 24-valve 6-cyl 987.1 Porsche engines. The car is currently being serviced in Orlando for replacement of worn caster bushings and a full alignment. An airbag warning light was reset electronically, and a PASM warning light was coded out because PASM was replaced with the installation of Öhlins suspension coilovers. Sony CarPlay® dash installation was $1,600. I've put roughly 1,000 miles on the car since purchase and had planned to begin tracking it in February.

Wrong coast! So tempting.

Wonder how this would compare to my street/track e46 M3 which is at almost identical level of build???

GLWS. Atlas Gray is a cool color too.

Looks like this car is sold. Pls let us know. Buyer is near me, hopefully I can see your car at some point and get a feel for the add-ons here.

I have to say the seller was/is very responsive to all questions in addition to the car being an attractive item.
