Description:
1996 Porsche 993TT
4 owners and nearly 24,000 miles
Black with tan upholstery
I have owned this car nearly 6 years and it has been maintained by FD Motorsports in Brentwood, CA during that time. What's been done :
- yearly oil and filter change regardless of mileage.
- Bilstein PSS10 suspension
- Fister 993 turbo muffler mod
- black turbo exhaust tips- have originals
- FDM Golden rod short shift kit
- upgraded turbo boost hoses and clamps (OEM)
- 3 spoke steering wheel - have original
- stainless steel brakes lines
- 993 TT sump tank line and turbo check valves kit installed from Ultimate Motorwerks.
- 4 piece Lloyd's black mats
- clear indicator lenses at front
- black gearshift boot, parking brake lever and cup holder. Have originals.
- 4 new Michelin Sport PS2's fitted last year. Current wheels are HRE C80's and I have the original turbo twists.
- new battery earlier this year
- 2 keys with remotes. Only 1 programmed.
Service history goes back to 2002. Note previous owner fitted new factory turbos in Sep 2010 at 17800 miles.
The car has just been serviced by FDM. New oil filters and using Mobil 1 20w-50 V Twin oil. New distributor rotor and cap, plus new spark plugs fitted. Leak down check performed at this time with all cylinders registering 1-3%.
The car has a clean Carfax and has had no body damage as far as I am aware. The front guards, bumper and bonnet, however, have been professionally repainted. Reason was a significant stone chip on the bonnet and one fender, complicated with issues removing the PPF from the edges of the bonnet. Those areas have subsequently been recovered in PPF.
The front windscreen has a small amount of light pitting, not worth replacing at this time. Finally, the rear windscreen outer rubber seal is
starting to lift in one corner and this issue will need to be addressed sometime in the future.
Why am I selling ? I have recently retired and reluctantly, would like to sell this 993 to free up some space and funds for the future.
The car is located in Danville In the East Bay of San Francisco.
Despite the non original paint work, this is a very nice car. It drives, looks and sounds great. Asking $135k or near offer. Please pm or contact me at 925 7059231 for any additional info. Thanks. Ross.
