Exceptional 2003 Porsche 996 Turbo with rare factory Aero Kit and X50 power package, in addition to extensive and costly upgrades and improvements. This car has the factory Engine Performance Package, or X50 package, its more common designation which comes from the option code. One of the higher MSRP's seen on a 996 Turbo. The X50 package adds larger turbos, intercoolers, and a revised engine management software which bumps the car from 415bhp to 444bhp, and was the basis for the Turbo S. In addition, it has the extremely rare factory Aerokit which replaces the problematic hydraulic rear spoiler with a larger and prettier fixed rear wing.

Quite a lot of money on upgrades and maintenance in the last 7k miles:

New clutch slave cylinder and accumulator
BBi Welded coolant pipes (done at the beginning of Feb 2016 at a cost of $5k- car is featured on BBi Motorsport's webpage)
Installed Ohlins R&T coilovers plus Tarrett drop links, front monoball camber plates and rear thrust arm bushings (total parts and labor cost of $6k). H&R sway bars.
Tarrett adjustable rear toe links
Corner balanced and aligned.
Updated GIAC K24 tune
New spark plugs
New battery
New MAF sensor
Completed engine oil and filter changes
transmission and diff oil services
Front bumper, full hood and front fenders are covered with XPEL paint protection film.
A 997 GT3 short shifter with added Function First Shift Right solution added.
RSS Engine mounts
4 x brand new Yokohama Advan AD08 tires installed 10 miles ago.
Factory Porsche Cover
Lloyds floormats
Spare front lip (always driven on the spare and factory aero kit lip saved in plastic)
All factory keys, records, service records.

Also available are: SpeedTech 2.5 X-pipe exhaust

AND: EURO Porsche Recaro GT3 seats in Graphite (EXTREMELY RARE- available for sale separately or installed in the car your choice)

The car is pristine inside, outside, and mechanically. It would be tough to find a better condition or better prepared clear title, no accidents, no paintwork 996 X50 Aerokit.

I'm only putting the 996 Turbo up for sale because the time to enjoy the car simply isn't there, and doesn't look to materialize anytime soon. Too much work, too much travel on my plate. The car has completed a comprehensive upgrade of the suspension, has welded coolant pipes and new tires and complete maintenance - and I've only managed to cover 10 miles since installing new tires. Only the best aftermarket and Porsche Motorsports parts were used throughout the car.
I travel and work overseas too frequently. The alignment and corner balance is incredible. The car remains perfectly comfortable, with no noise, while transforming the steering, handling, and grip levels.
Note: the car is pictured with the GT3 seats and SpeedTech exhaust installed, I'll be returning those items to the stock X50 exhaust and Factory seats (stored in my home in the plastic), unless the new owner wants those additional items.

I'd rather this car to go to a Rennlist member, but if there isn't the interest here, I'll hang onto the car, as this spec of 996tt X50 will continue to hold value and increase in time. Car is located in Steamboat Springs CO. I am happy to pick anyone up at the airport or assist with shipping the vehicle.

$60,000

Great looking Colorado Turbo! You didn't list mileage... Is the ~52.8K miles shown on the dash picture current?

yes that is correct, 52,800 miles is how she sits. always climate controlled garaged. Oh- also I should add - as a prior california car, and then a fair weather Colorado car with full front bra and never driven on i70- the paint is exceptionally clean, nearly flawless with zero stone chips.

thanks!!

Lots of questions about the GT3 Seats:

These are Factory Euro Porsche GT3 Recaro's, in factory Graphite.

The driver's seat has a Brey Krause rake adjustable mount and slider, and the passenger side is a factory Porsche mount.

I am selling these seats separately, unless of course the buyer of the Turbo wants to purchase them and keep them with the car

Porsche GT3 Recaro's in Graphite Grey are ultra rare. I have only ever seen one set for sale which is the set I have. I hunted for several years to find them.

If you separated the seats from the car, it could be quite difficult to find another set.
